Our absolute favourite restaurant; anywhere! Consistently delicious food, great service, generous portions. The owner is generally always in house. We have never been disappointed. If we are meeting friends, this is our go to; particularly for those from out of town. The ONLY downfall is the downtown location but parking is generally not an issue.
Love this place. A little pricy but the quality of their food and ingredients are great. Never had a bad meal here. Wish they were open for lunch more as I can only go on Saturday every 2-3 weeks due to work schedual. Never had a bad meal. Dad is Dutch, not German, but he said their Beef Barley soup is just like his mom used to make. And that the schnitzel tastes like what he's had back home.
