Let’s start by a few words: Deceptive Practice, Rude, lies.
My wife, a friend and I made the mistake by having a meal at the 412 Princess Street, Kingston, ON, K7L 1B8 location on Tu. Oct 15, 2024 evening. We ordered a special(teriyaki beef) including a drink which the poster advertised for $9.99. Sound like a wonderful deal. Anyone would have thought the pre-tax total would have been $29.97. To our surprise, the pre-tax total was over $40.00.
We asked the cashier whom dyed her hair blond to explain to us why the total is a lot more than we or anyone would have assumed. She did not answer our question but kept rambling on. Of course we pressed on for a satisfied explanation of why the excess charge. She finally called the manager whom told us that the special is ONLY available to 1 per transaction. The advertised poster of this deal did not state that this was allowed 1 per transaction.
The fake blond cashier then rudely pointed her finger at me and stated that only 1 special was allowed per transaction. Let me stated that she DID NOT state only 1 special allowed per transaction. That was nothing more than a lie.
Naturally we left without paying.
In today’s business environment, this type of practice exists. I would NEVER visit this place again nor would I recommend, in particular this restaurant to anyone I know.

This newish franchise is operated very well. Food is fresh, healthy and delicious. Hospitality is always grateful and welcoming. Delivery meals are as good as seat-in dining. Keep up the good work. ?

No cutlery in the order, I asked for a brown sugar boba I got a milk tea, and when I called to warn the lady apparently I was telling stories about the brown sugar tea. I even offered to send a photo, to prove my words. Plus I asked for extra mushrooms, they didn't put any mushrooms. A Brown sugar boba looks absolutely nothing like what I took a photo of. In addition, the food is clearly reheated, the vegetables are overcooked and soft, the noodles are also overcooked, in short, completely disappointing for more than $50 spent, it's absolutely not worth it.

We always order the gyoza and veggie noodle soup from here. It is great for when you are feeling under the weather and it is chock full of delicious veggies. Not too greasy or heavy at all!

Owner was very mean, didn’t recommend anything. I asked if I could park there after I ate, he said yes, left for 20 minutes, and my car was towed once I came back. Would never recommend this place.
