Groceries are not as cheap as they used to be and Farm Boy is no exception. However, the quality is always there. Incredible produce, much of it Canadian and a wide variety of everything else. No wonder this location is always packed and it is still kept very clean.
The hot food bar was not good. The rice and assorted foods were dry and looked like Noone had stirred it since it was put out. My local farmboy has those foods being stirred constantly and I wanted butter chicken but it looked gross.
I popped this evening to hopefully grab some food at the hot counter. There wasn't any donairs or chicken stir fry. I asked if they were able to make anything, fully expecting to be told no (I've been told no many times). To my surprise and delight, Princess said yes but it would be about 20 minutes because of the meat. I was so happy. Another lovely customer was there and she ordered the same thing and Princess cooked us both a donair and chicken stir fry.
