I recently tried the moussaka, and unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The eggplant slices were cut far too thick, making them overwhelming and undercooked in parts. The ground meat layer was disappointingly sparse, barely contributing to the dish's flavor or texture. Worst of all, the béchamel sauce, which should be a creamy highlight, was scarce and lacked richness. Overall, the dish felt unbalanced and left me wanting a more authentic, well-executed moussaka. I hope the kitchen refines this recipe, as it has potential but missed the mark. This was a take away order so cannot say anything about the service or atmosphere.

My wife and I first went to Grecos in undergrad, and over a decade later, the food is exactly the same (a real testament to their quality). Being a Toronto native, the food scene is top notch, yet Grecos is still by far the best Greek food we have ever had. The prices are also very reasonable (espcially in this age of shrink-flation). You'll need to make reservations though because it's a very popular joint.

This is the second time we’ve been to Grecos. Both times they were full of people in a relatively small space. We ate at the bar. The food was quite good but the service was just average. It’s a very popular restaurant in Kingston.

Great spot in Kingston for a nice dinner! My friends and I got the saganaki, calamari and olives to share. It was so delicious. The calamari is entire pieces of tender squid, not the little rings and tentacles other places might give. It was fantastic. I had the bifteka for dinner and it was good, although a bit salty and maybe broiled for a minute too long. The tomatoey gravy that came with the bifteka was really delicious. The Greek salad is fantastic, a nice balance of cucumber, tomato and a fantastic dressing on lettuce. Portions were decently sized.
The server was attentive and refilled our water constantly. He also took our requested modifications with diligence and made sure our meals came as requested.
Overall, it was a really yummy meal in a very warm atmosphere.

I had the lamb shank and it was delicious! Melt in your mouth, the gravy was amazing, the potatoes and veg were really good. It was super busy when we were there, hence it was loud, but I get that. Service was good. I was very happy with my meal.
