The restaurant is known for its commitment to its craft, as the sashimi bento box has remained unchanged for years. Although the dining area is small and can be intimate, it is usually not busy.
Vegetarian options are available, including vegetable rolls and appetizers such as spring rolls and tofu. However, the vegetarian selection may be limited, and additional sauce packets would be appreciated with spring rolls.
Izumo Sushi offers a 20% discount for cash payments, and their party trays are reasonably priced compared to other sushi places in the area. However, the size of their maki rolls is smaller than most, and the quality can be hit or miss. While some customers have experienced fresh and flavorful sushi, others have received dry or less fresh fish.
