A classic for Pho in Kingston going back to my university days. Truly my "entry drug" for Vietnamese cuisine. Standard, service, and vibe hasn't change a bit over the years. They have finally updated their menus though - clean and simple with photos and numbers. Something for everyone. Can't go wrong with a #1 & a #4. Heads-up Cash or credit, but they DO NOT take AMEX.
Had lunch at the downtown (Bagot Street) location with 2 friends. We ordered #1, #6, and #7. #6 was the agreed best of the three. However, the other 2 dishes were very good. The red curry is a medium spice level (a nice heat with favour). The service was fast (considering it was busy), we ordered and had our food within 10 mins.The restaurant is not very appealing, looks run down but it seems to be clean (again it's a busy place).We will definitely return.
