The Iron Duke on Wellington

Where should I begin? Iron Duke on Wellington is truly one of Kingston’s hidden gems. Great food, a fantastic atmosphere, and a team that genuinely cares about making people feel welcome, making people feel home and cozy. Nothing feels forced or pretentious — just consistently excellent. It is still a place where the bartenders have a genuine human interest in their patrons, and will remember your name even after brief conversation. It is always clean and has every ambience of a true pub. Marinated eggs, home made chips (dukeritos) are small but significant evidence of what this team is all about.

It’s the kind of place you visit once and find yourself coming back to again and again. Kingston is lucky to have places like this. Thank you to the entire team for creating something special. Keep up the good work!

Had the Greek Philly cheese steak and ceaser salad. Absolutely one of the best sandwich i have EVER Had salad was one if not best ceaser salad i have had.pickled eggs were delious and all the food and service was awsome Highly recommend.

Great spot! We stopped by for some drinks last night and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the beer selection was fantastic, and the service was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend this place!

This was the second time the wife and I decided to stop for a late lunch/early supper. We just absolutely loved coming here. Both times, I got the special and I was pleasantly surprised both times. Are items were well presented and both tasted amazing. The wife really enjoyed her meals as well and we both said we can't wait to come back.

Unbelievable. I think her name was Pam you seriously don’t get serivce like that anymore we had kids wanting to be independent placing their order and she was so patient and empathetic.

Went here after work to grab bite.Sat at bar. I got Duke burger and added bacon to burg n bbq sauce to bottom bun. Burg 6oz patty since eat alot protein this was perfect. Ask for garlic parm on fries. Was awesome. Brice was my bartender he got everything right was cool dude and rocked it. I will likely go back at some point.

I was recommended the Duke at work and so happy I ended up going. Me and my girlfriend have gone at least once a month for the past 6 months and every single time the food is fantastic, no matter what we order. The price is slightly lower than other pubs in the area and they have lots of specials every day, for both food and alcohol. Can't recommend the place enough, it's become our go-to place! The only thing I can even think of as a complaint is that it can get a little rowdy with people shouting at each other but it's a pub so that's to be expected. 10/10

A very well appointed pub. Friendly, helpful and super accommodating to our needs.
There are some different seating areas, including some more private seating tucked away in the wall.
A fully stocked bar with beer on tap. And zero alcohol options too.
The food has never failed and the specials prove the chef is a genius.
Lunch, supper, snack or an evening beverage, the Duke will not disappoint you.
