Highly recommend. Service was great right when we walked in until we left after dinner. Food was fantastic. The restaurant itself was very appealing. Kind of a rustic feel. But elegant at the same time. Will definately return for another meal next time we're in the Kingsville area.
We often drive from Amherstburg to Kingsville to enjoy a fabulous meal or light lunch at Mettawas Station. The menu changes frequently to offer seasonal delights while keeping the favourite dishes available too. In spring, summer, or fall we can ride our bikes on the trail and stop by for a drink on the patio. This is a perfect choice for entertaining guests...out of town guests love the ambience of the old train station and easy access to biking and walking trails or downtown...
I took my husband to Mettawas Station Mediterranean Restaurant for his birthday. We truly enjoyed the food. Our server Stacey was friendly and pleasant. We ordered the perch and pickerel, excellent choice. My husband also got a complimentary birthday dessert, to die for. We would definitely go back.
