The quintessential hole in the wall. There were two tables for eating in, beside the counter right behind which they were making food. They were out of several menu items due to truck delays. The proprietors are very quiet. We could see them working the whole time. However, they checked in several times on our satisfaction with the food, corrected an oversight in the order for free, and the food was absolutely delicious. Came to kirkland lake for work. Had to stay over night in a hotel. No one could give me any recommendations for good food in town. Tired of the usual food chains. Decided to take a gamble on gimmi-wun and my god did i ever hit the jackpot.
