Tried Chatako today and ordered their chili cheese sandwich along with a vada pav.

The chili cheese sandwich came on regular sliced bread 😀instead of the expected larger, softer sandwich bread, which made it feel off. The green chutney and cheese were dripping out everywhere, and unfortunately, the overall taste was pretty disappointing.

The vada pav itself was completely bland and lacked any real flavor or seasoning.

Overall, not a great experience, might skip it next time and stick with Kachori House.

I recently visited your place for the first time and ordered locho and puff I enjoyed the taste.
But I noticed I was charged $1 extra for the schezwan puff which was not mentioned on the menu .While the amount is small , customers should be clearly informed about any additional charges before billing.
Please make sure pricing is clearly displayed to avoid any confusion for future customers.

I recently visited Chatako in Kitchener and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the nylon khaman, vadapav and mag pulav, and both were absolutely delicious with a very authentic taste. The flavors were perfectly balanced and reminded me of home-style food.
The pav for the vada pav was very soft and fresh, which made it even better. Actually they make their buns in house which is even amaizing. You can really tell they focus on quality and authenticity.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was smooth. The restaurant has a clean and pleasant ambiance, making it a comfortable place to enjoy your meal.
Overall, a great spot for authentic and tasty food. Highly recommended!

This place serve authentic gujarati food. We visited multiple time over there and had dhokla ,khman, gota, daalwada. Everything is very good. They maintain taste and quality of food.

Service is slow. Food taste is average. Price is too high as compared to food and taate. Generally, $100 can feed 4 people satisfactorily with good restaurant food. And here it will give you only Sev-Usal or SevTari for 4 people which consider as Snacks.

My go to place in Kitchener for the best Gujarati food! This is the place where the taste has been consistently chatakedar as the name suggests. My personal favourite are the tamtam khaman and vadapav which would melt in your mouth. Their customer service also is amazing and employees are welcoming. Do check it out!
