Disappointed by the experience at Choice Restaurant, Kitchener. As a franchise of the iconic Ahmedabad outlet, expectations were high — but sadly, the quality didn’t match.
We ordered Bhajipav, Butter Plain Dosa, and Rava Masala Dosa. The bhaji was extremely oily and the buns were brittle. Dosas were thick and poorly made, sambhar was salty, and served lukewarm, in very small portions. Rava dosa took a long time, and the sambhar was almost inedible.
Staff was aware about the issues with dosas and taking follow up after serving how was it? when we pointed them out, he said I will look into this. Only one server was handling all tables on a busy weekend — not ideal.
If you're expecting the same taste as Choice (Ahmedabad), you’ll likely be disappointed.

The best restaurant and best staff in the kitchener. Their customer service is top notch. The guy serving food with glasses on Friday night is truly charming. I hope the restaurant owner recognizes and appreciates his hard work and dedication.

The food and service is great as usual. Always love to visit this place for food and cravings . Staff is polite and helped to decide what to get . 10/10 for food and location.

I been there for place a order for a pickup, guy at the front desk seems not happy at all idk why? Didn’t even smile or did greeting directly come to se said yes!, than he directly took my order than after when I’m paying the bill, although i was the first at front desk but he give priority to make a bill and receive a payment to another person who was standing behind me. Idk why!

All the time, my favorite place. Their food taste are always the same with good quality products. The dishes are giving totally authentic indian taste. The service and employees are friendly.

To much disappointing with food. It wasn’t on level as other branches of choice for sure. We order Hakka noodles, Chinese bhel, Bhajipav, Pulav & Manchurian. Everything was tasteless except Pulav was average and we loved the original flavour of Manchurian. But other than that food quality was 0. Please maintain your focus on your flavour. Atmosphere and service were excellent.

After waiting 45 mins they took 20 min extra to take order and then told us that main course will take another 35-40 min.

Went today 14th Oct 2024 Monday evening 7:30 pm
Booked table at 2:00 pm same day reserve table but when we enter only 1 water bottle on table of 5
Order food waiter forgot to bring buttermilk/ lassi and other meals came after 40 minutes after placing the order waiter did not bring buttermilk until 75 percent food already eaten by us
Service is garbage / will not recommend at all this location
People came after use they already finished dinner including starter/ main course / dessert then we received the our order

Today we get worst experience ,1- our order not serverd according to order 2- not even served water 3- food served after 45 minutes 4- after order nobody even came to ask if we need anything extra 5- I recommend everyone to think first before going to this restaurant

Chinese bhel, pizza, falooda and vada pav was all that we had and we loved everything.. very authentic taste.. Definitely worth coming back again and again

I have been here twice. The first time it was great- it was a Friday evening and the restaurant was full. The second time was a weekday lunch time and there was barely anybody around. I had taken people with me after the great food we had experienced the first time but boy was I mistaken! I ordered chaats and they were average at best. I also ordered peri peri Paneer tikka to go and when I opened it at home not only was the edges completely burned but it had zero flavor- forget peri peri it felt like the chef had even forgotten the salt! Different cooks? Very strange. I called to complain and they told me the manager will call back but he didn't.

Today I ordered some starter appetizers while waiting for my food and guess what happened, my main course came before the appetizers. Just because of slow service we couldn’t eat in a better way. And one more things we also ordered salad and the same after eating everything,they brought the salad.

Serious Note:

Also above some of the tables you can clearly find so many spiders web and I believe it’s not a good standard for food hygiene. So check your table before sitting over there.

Worst quality of Chinese Bhel! Just see the picture of manchurian. Barely able to break it and chew it. Even vadapao was too spicy (we ordered medium spicy though).
The quality of the food has been changed a lot!
Throwing out the whole dish.
What a waste of money!
