Mixed reviews about this place, although the food itself was excellent. The reason for giving 4 stars is the long wait time. We waited almost 30–40 minutes around 12 pm even though several tables were empty—they simply didn’t have enough staff to manage the guests. After being seated, it took another 40–45 minutes for our food to arrive. The food was worth the wait, but the service and overall ambience definitely need improvement.
What a wonderful breakfast! I’ve eaten at Darlise Cafe a few times over the years and have always been satisfied with their service and food. We stayed at the Walper Hotel across the street and decided to get take-out breakfast this time. This is way beyond a standard diner breakfast! From homemade strawberry jam, a delicious onion & potato roští (pancake) and a delicious breakfast sausage everything was amazing. Even the coffee was way better than a typical diner...
