Edo Japan - The Boardwalk - Sushi & Grill

First time at Edo. Staff so kind and friendly. I really liked the sushi roll I had and I also had the beef noodle bowl, it was really good.
I would definitely go to Edo again.

I ordered the Tofu Teriyaki. My food was made with great care. It was very clean, delicious, and healthy. I like the fact that the packaging also seems biodegradable. Just wish I could have added more tofu and mushrooms on the ubereats app but I saw no option. Still enjoyed my meal.

I almost never eat out because I am pretty much always left disappointed, this experience has been no exception. Had a long crappy night ahead of me figured why cook I could use a break I'm out anyway let's grab something half decent. of all the boardwalk options in the immediate vicinity this one seemed to be the best from reviews figured can't go wrong this however turned out to be a terrible assumption and my experience was poor right from the start

1824 Place 3 item order claims ready for 1840
1833 Enter wait at front counter. These guys are panicking
1835 See that my bento box is being prepped near a bag with my name on it (orderd shrimp extra shrimp, main is in the bag with my name on it
1837 my presence is noticed and I inquire of my order. Told it will be a few minute.
1846 bag with my name on it (bwmnoi) placed on pick up shelf
1847 bwmnoi removed from pick up shelf
1850 bwmnoi replaced on pick up shelf
1853 Finally get up to get my own order sitting on the shelf apparently complete but unannounced, despite announcing ALL other orders no problem.

Bento box is 20 minutes old at this point & I haven't even left to go home.

Order:
Bento box: Shrimp traiaki, extra shrimp, add mushrooms, side spring roll, side gyoza
Sushilicious Meal Platter: 16 pieces
Sea Salt Edamame

Pros:
Veg not overcooked
Gyoza were tasty

Cons:
Waited nearly an extra 15 minutes over completion time estimate.
Entire meal luke warm at best & I heven't even left the building.
Shrimp overcooked.
Rice overcooked/mushy & extremely bland no seasoning.

This experience has earned this franchise the award of not visiting this location or any other location again for 2-5 years.

It was my first time trying edo Japan with my sister. It was absolutely fantastic. The service was exceptional and the food was so fresh. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or family. Overall, amazing experience.
