I used to like Mandarin, but last few times I've gone I seem to find it overpriced for what you get. I do like the variety of a buffet, but guess I'm bored of it.

I have been a loyal patron of the Mandarin restaurant in the Tri-City area for over 20 years. Over time, I noticed a significant shift in the menu—there are now barely any fish or meat options, whereas it used to feature luxurious choices like snow crab and lobster. That said, the service has always been impeccable, and the staff remain amazing.
However, my most recent visit left me uneasy. I witnessed a woman at a nearby table become violently ill, yet her partner continued eating as if nothing had happened. This incident made me feel that the restaurant now attracts a less desirable crowd, and I no longer feel comfortable dining there. It’s disappointing to see such a reputable place lose some of its former charm.

Mandarin is hands down one of the most fun and enjoyable dining experiences I’ve had! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly polite, friendly, and full of energy – they truly go out of their way to make sure you’re having a great time. One of the highlights was how they celebrate your birthday – they make it feel super special! They sang, brought out a dessert, and even gave me a photo to take home as a souvenir. It was such a thoughtful touch and made my day extra memorable. The variety of food is impressive – there’s something for everyone! From fresh sushi and stir-fries to classic Western dishes, soups, salads, and a huge selection of desserts, everything was delicious and well-prepared. You can tell they put care into offering both quality and quantity. Whether you’re celebrating something or just in the mood for a fun night out with great food, Mandarin is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be back!

All excellent. I love them and love the place. This is an update. I celebrated my birthday there. Not an actual party, just went there to eat and chill with family. They did the whole birthday thing for me! 😁 They are lovely people. I love the vibe there. The whole customer treatment. They are just excellent.
