As a chef, foodie, winelover and busy mom, there is no place I would rather be. I show up, they always have an amazing tasting menu with wine pairing, I don't have to think about anything! Just sit back relax and enjoy! How rare to not have to decide and know you're going to love it. They are so great with mine and my husband's allergies, provide perfect substitutes that match the meal and never make us feel guilty about it. And what does one feed a chef? This! Amazing staff, amazing atmosphere, I highly recommend S&V Uptown.Dietary restrictions: S&V Uptown is great with allergies and doesn't skimp on the meal or make you feel bad about itKid-friendliness: My kids appreciate this food, and love that they're treated as equals.

My favourite celebratory restaurant in town!This weekend I enjoyed their Beef Tartare, Oysters, Bison Bucatini, and Crema Catalana. Everything was delicious, but the hot sauce that accompanied the oysters was especially good, and the Bison Bucatini had perfectly al dente pasta and the most tender and flavourful bison.Plus their craft cocktails are always so creative. During my most recent visit I had their Situationship cocktail which was not only gorgeous, but perfectly balanced as well (very impressive considering this had both campari and ginger beer).Plus, Jill and Aaron are always so warm and welcoming. There are very few places in the region that offer an approachable fine dining experience such as this, with tremendous dishes and cocktails that taste as good as they look (if not better), so I definitely have to commend the team on what they’ve been able to create in only a few years.
Thanking this wonderful venue, for the amazing effort that was put in to making my boyfriend’s birthday an amazing experience. We had a dinner party booked for roughly 20 guest and S&V was more than accommodating. The guest were all super impressed by the service we receive from Jacob our waiter, he was attentive on top of everyone’s needs and the night ran smoothly. Thank you Jill for the hospitality and communication throughout planning. Amazing food and atmosphere we will all be back
We thoroughly enjoyed the Moroccan Supper Club this week. We're not big rum drinkers but the pre-dinner cocktail might make us converts. The menu was amazing as was the wine pairing for each of the 5 courses. The service was excellent and staff were most attentive. We really enjoyed chatting with the sommelier at the end of the night as well. Thanks for a great experience!
