I brought my gf here tonight fir dinner she just lost her husband 4cdays ago , I haven't seen her, The service wirh betty was amazing as soon as we walked in the door . Its nice to see people with a good sence of humor. Great service the chicken was so small each piece thats Not Betty issue.

This was my first time at Swiss Chalet. Had the half chicken with mashed potatoes and was very impressed. Considering that this is a chain restaurant the food quality is outstanding. And most importantly all the wait staff were very welcoming - particularly our server Betty.

UPDATE: May 23, 2026 I ordered the hot roast beef sandwich and the beef was such a disappointment it was mostly all this fatty stringy stuff. It wasn't sliced roast beef like what they have for their roast beef dinner it was just all these little bits all over the bread it was just weird. I had mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables and nothing was even the slightest bit warm when I received my food when it got delivered. I definitely don't recommend the beef unless it's done differently for other beef dishes but the hot sandwich the beef I got was not all that great. I can have better roast beef if I buy deli roast beef slices from Walmart!
UPDATE: May 21, 2026 It states on Skip that the loaded perogies are crispy the ones I received were very soft because of the cheese sauce. The cheese sauce should be put in a little container on the side so the customer can put it on if they want, some people may want crispy perogies and not soggy. Some of my quesadilla was too hard on the outer edge. On Skip I chose buttermilk ranch dressing for my garden salad I just received regular ranch. UPDATE: May 10, 2025 I ordered a quarter chicken today and half of the chicken was missing skin and that's one of the main reasons I like Swiss Chalet chicken is because of the skin. My Caesar salad had mainly the hard vein bits and hardly any leafy pieces. UPDATE Nov.11, 2024 Very greasy regular fries and not enough strawberry topping for the amount of cheesecake you get. UPDATE Dec.10, 2023 I had the festive hot chicken sandwich today and there were little bits of tough things in the sandwich that were basically inedible I couldn't even chew them. Also for the hot sandwich you don't get enough gravy, 1/3 of my sandwich everything was dry. UPDATE Jan. 28, 2022 The Caesar salad at this location is terrible, a Caesar salad should be mainly dark green and the one I had today was mainly light green and the hard vein middle. I was totally displeased! I also had cheesecake which cost $6.50 which came with a strawberry topping and for the amount of cheesecake you got there was hardly any topping. I went to this location on a Saturday and you would think with it being the weekend they would have more staff working when I entered I waited a long time to be served then after I was served I waited a long time again just to get my salad. The person that was sitting behind me he was starting to complain about the food taking so long too he hadn't even got his spring rolls, now spring rolls are an appetizer so he should have got them before his meal, well a staff member brought his meal to him but no spring rolls, he was upset and he just walked out. I think it was the long wait coupled with not even getting his spring rolls. As far as the food goes part of the chicken was hard the part right underneath the skin I think it was either cooked too long or it was sitting under the warmer too long but part of it I couldn't even eat, it was too tough and hard. This other time I was at this location with a neighbour friend and she ordered mixed vegetables the cooked type and they were hard. Many years ago I used to get a lot of delivery from this location and most of the time the orders were not right or the food there was something wrong with the food I was constantly calling in to say something.
