Bought a box of 6 scones - the cheddar, cheddar and chive, cheddar and jalapeno, blueberry, lemon poppyseed and orange coconut (I think). Scones were buttery and soft, reheating them in the microwave for breakfast the next day worked well too. Price is reasonable for 20 bucks. Hubby and I both enjoyed them as a treat! :)

Amazing selection of scones. We got a six pack with a cheddar, orange coconut, cranberry, raspberry chocolate, rhubarb and apple cinnamon. The apple cinnamon was the most loved between everyone in the family. I loved the cranberry one. It had just the right amount of icing and cranberries throughout. Definitely will be going back to try the other flavors and pick up some cinnamon buns to try. And maybe some macaroons.

*amending review - returned for a second visit. I fell coming out of the shop as the front step was not clearly marked. Owner came out and then blamed me saying most people walk down the ramp. She saw that my box of items was open on the ground and picked up the items and said they were fine. I told her they had fallen on the ground and I had put them back in (box wasn’t taped or tied shut). No offer to replace my baked goods. Put out a “caution” sign after I complained about the step needing to be painted a bright colour or have caution tape down. Two other sets of customers came in after me as I was recovering in my vehicle and used the same front steps in and out as I did so not sure why she said everyone uses the ramp other than to try and put the liability on me.
First visit was fine. Nanaimo cup was good. Cinnamon bun and scones were a bit stale.
Fantastic value here. The scones are amazing and go very well with tea.

I live in Belmont village and go here regularly, along with my family - I’m not typically a pastry person but the fresh-baked, homemade quality makes it a real treat. We recently brought some of their scones to a family Thanksgiving in Guelph as a dessert item and they were loved so much our relatives drove from Guelph to The Sconery the weekend after to buy some of their own! Highly recommended. Note the store is not meant to dine in. Decor is basic/industrial and meant purely to make the best scones possible. Linda’s service is excellent as well.

I love the buttery smell of the Sconery ! So much goodness in one small space. Worth the trip from Cambridge:) Shout out to Linda who helped me and was a delight ! The pumpkin scone was as delicious as she said it would be - awesome recommendation! Can’t wait to visit again :)
