DID NOT FEEL SAFE
If I could give this negative stars I would.
My fiancé and I were out for my birthday tonight and what an awful experience. Right off the bat, the guy at the register was not friendly/welcoming at all. Pretending he couldn’t hear my fiancé pronounce a menu item until he pronounced it the way he wanted it. Not once did the employee come and ask us how our food was.
The main complaint is that a clearly mentally unstable man came into the store, clearly not well and was talking to us the whole time we were there. Talking about his criminal life, relationship issues, religion, conspiracy theories. Was super loud the whole time and it was only us in the store. I noticed the nightly employee was about to come over then saw the guy then proceeded to leave us alone. Not ONCE did the owner come to make sure we were okay. It was clear we were uncomfortable and felt uneasy. We didn’t even eat our food because of this uncomfortable situation. Will not be back and will be sticking to our Latino Americano in Cambridge.

I really wanted to like this place. I was excited to try it given the high Google rating, and the interior is genuinely adorable. The mini shop attached to the restaurant is fantastic and stocked with hard-to-find Latin foods.
Sadly, the meal was a major disappointment. The food was incredibly inconsistent and mostly awful. On the positive side, the jalapeño and zucchini pupusas were pretty good. However, the pork and beans pupusa was bad, and the chicken tamale was awful. We were split on the corn tamale; my wife liked it, but I found the very mushy texture off-putting and the flavor far too sweet. Mind you, I have had excellent corn tamales in the past.
The kitchen also seemed to struggle with basic execution. We ordered two of the plantains but received plain ones that were just whole, uncut, deep-fried plantains rather than the stuffed ones pictured on the menu. Even more confusingly, both the chorizo and steak enchiladas were served refrigerator-cold, even the meats.
I am confident I could make better versions of these dishes at home. It is a great place to buy ingredients, but I cannot recommend the restaurant.

This is soooo bad. I ordered quiet a few pupusas and they are obviously frozen and heated. They are not made fresh to order and they are so bad and dried, DO NOT BUY PUPUSAS HERE!!! NO CHEESE AND THEY ARE FROZEN NOT FRESH TO ORDER. such a shame. Super bad pupusas.

Popusas that I’ve ordered were so dry like there were frozen I asked chcharone and cheese there was no cheese in any 20 that I’ve ordered And tomato sauce is made with tomato paste big nonono specially tomato are in season I’m not going to be eating here

Pork and cheese pupusa was ok, but didn’t like that counter lady said I have to order at least two because it’s not something I would want to eat that much of at once. It’s like a cornmeal patty.

Went here today with my cousin and the lady who served us was the sweetest TvT I was practicing my Spanish and we had great conversation together. She was so sweet. Birria tacos y tacos de cochinita was very good. Muchas gracias!
Went here with my family we spent over 150$ weeks got pupusas and they gave us equivalent to one spoon full of salad and a spoon full of sauce when we asked for more they said that’s what they give we also got their seafood soup it taste okay but the prawns were not clean and still had the intestine vein which meant they were full of poop (it’s a black line on the back of shrimp or prawns . Also it tasted like it was refrigerated because parts of it were cold . Only reason we came here was because Mi Latina Tina was close

Had placed an order at 7:15 for delivery. They accepted the order and said they were preparing it. When the driver got there to pick it up, the restaurant was closed and the doors were locked. Very disappointed as I waited 45 minutes, just for them to close and not even cancel my order. Horrible service.
