My favourite cafe. Creative high quality drinks and treats at a reasonable price. Both the Blue Icii and Pandan Mochi were delicious. Friendly staff and beautifully decorated. I just love it! Its also not busy during weekdays Ive noticed.
Update: I’ve visited way too many times to count since this review and wanted to share that the quality has remained consistent, friendly staff, quick service, and the ambiance of the cafe is so charming and cozy. They also host a variety of unique events like gilmore girl nights and craft events which I think is amazing! It’s a really nice spot to people watch, read, or draw.
My new favourite menu item (which I’ve had 4 times), is their blueberry earl grey matcha. I hope they make it a permanent menu item it’s SO GOOD. Even if you’re not a blueberry fan it just tastes so fresh and delightful and perfect you need to try it. I have also had their cherry blossom donut, raspberry scone, orange sherbet drink (I can’t remember the exact name), cereal milk latte and they’ve all been great.

Good coffee, bakery items, and vibes. Great place to catch up with friends or work out of a cafe. Friendly customer service and staff. Also, I love how almost every seat has an electrical outlet for charging laptops or phones.

The place was great, my drink was good. Did not like the attitude of the person taking the order . He was like “ I don’t understand you”… I think my English is absolutely fine and so is my accent.. When your in a service industry there is a better way of putting it without sounding condescending..
Had the chance to visit this cafe while on a short trip to Kitchener. Unassuming from the outside - the inside is bursting with colour and warmth. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. It’s clean, with lots of spots to plug in and do your work from the cafe, or just stay for a little read. Also - great wifi!
From the new seasonal menu(Fall 2025) I tried the Dulce de Leche latte, the Black Sesame Hojicha Flat White, and the Whoopsie Pumpkin Spice latte. I also had the Yacht Pop Smoothie with a matcha shot. All the drinks had beautiful flavours and the perfect amount of sweetness. I rarely go to a cafe and have a drink come out tasting so balanced. My favourite would have to be the Black Sesame Hojicha just because it’s a new latte flavour for me and its very delicate nuttiness really invited me to slow down and savour each sip.
I really love a cafe where you can come in and feel the community. At Whoopsie the vibe of the customers is so good! They seem to intentionally cultivate a kind customer base. Heartily recommend dropping by for a Survivor Night, or one of the other local community events that they host during the month.
All in all, an amazing time. Heartily recommend.

I tried the Blueberry Earl Grey Iced Matcha Latte and absolutely loved it – you can taste the blueberry, earl grey, and matcha in just the right balance.
I also had the Coconut Mochi, which had a bread pudding–like consistency and a rich coconut flavor.
Overall, a great spot – whether you’re looking to get some work done in a cozy café setting or just catch up with a friend.

As someone who doesn’t love really sweet desserts as a go-to coffee drink, this was a great experience! The matcha tonic was delicious for those who enjoy both tonic and matcha. And the lychee americano was perfect - amazing balance of the lychee fruit that complements the espresso.
Really nice vibe too with great seating options for meeting with someone or doing solo work.

Whoopsie is such a fun cafe in Kitchener!
They have a wonderfully curated list of flavoured coffee and tea based drinks on top of a solid rotating list of batch brews, and regular and decaf espressos.
They also have smoothies!
On the subject of decaf, they don’t shy from bringing in some great roasts that feature flavours you would never consider when getting a decaf espresso.
Their retail coffee selection is awesome but they most recently started curating a wine selection and they have been amazing.
Don’t sleep on this cafe and get in early because they bring in treats from Nibs and Nosh and Roux Bakehouse here in Kitchener!
