Best wood fire pizza in town! Always amazed by the favour combinations! Authentic dishes every Friday and Saturday that never disappoint! The charred jalapeño sauce is my favourite! Chef Thompson is so kind and welcoming! You cannot go wrong ordering from wooden boat!
Stone of the best food in the city. The choices are limited but if you like the sound of what is being offered on the day it will not disappoint, it will be delicious. His pizzas may well be the best pizza I've ever had. I'd put food quality on par or better than the other top restaurants in the city (red house, Bauer kitchen ect)

I’ve been enjoying Chef Thompson’s food for 2+ years, and to me, this restaurant is unparalleled. I’ve never had a bad or even mediocre meal — the quality is consistent. Everything is fresh, and the flavour is incredible, every time. I only wish I had discovered Wooden Boat sooner! I also appreciate the shared-use kitchen and local food partnerships models.
