I went to Tim's today on my lunch break. I ordered a small chili a medium coffee with one cream and a chocolate glazed donut. I took it to work and opened the butter to put it on my bun. The butter was put on top of the chili container and was totally melted to liquid as a result of opening the butter i spilled right down my jeans and made a horrible mess that will not clean out. I was not impressed as I only own two pair of jeans and these ones are now destroyed. The butter will not come out. They also put the chocolate dipped donut in its small bag on top of the chili and as a result the chocolate of the donut melted along the inside of the bag. Also I ordered the coffee with one cream and it came to me at least a double cream. I took a photo but can't include with this review.
One of the thirty year old men who was working near the drive through window, at this location. Told me that I should have my one year old husky put down because he was whining in the back seat of my car. Far from the type of comment I would expect from an employee speaking to a customer. Clearly some training is still required.

I come through every day around 4 and I can never hear the guy named darren he tumbles his words and easily gets upset when I come up to window and does snarky comments. I love the morning staff they are always quick and happy loved the window girl today. I also see darren yell at other employees during evening runs to tim hortons other then that I love the lakefield tim hortons team

Can't express how good this location is, always fresh food and a fast drive thru, always has trained, friendly staff that know what they're doing which makes this my favourite location by far. 5 stars in every category.
Our workplace buys donuts and coffee from this location monthly and we are always treated with care and the orders are ALWAYS right. Great job guys!

This Tim's, just like every other one I've visited within 20km - 40km of here; it is at best 50/50 that you can get even 1 pastry you like and don't even bother if you want to get donuts for a meeting or a class. Unless you wanted plain or maybe 1 honey dip, chocolate glaze and then have the dozen filled with "assorted" (meaning whatever is left that was less appealing than plain), or you arrive BEFORE 8 AM on a weekend.
I grew up in Durham Region. If Tim Hortons was low on donuts before 5:00 p.m. on the weekend, people yelled at the staff, complained to managers, and sometimes even issued threats depending on how low they were. But, in the Kawarthas the staff acts like you're mistreating them if you order half a dozen donuts at 8 am on a weekday.
In Peterborough, I have been admonished by staff for ordering a half dozen donuts! "What about the other customers? We will be out of donuts before lunch at this rate". It was about 830am on a Saturday and I was going to see my nieces. However, "make more" was not the response they wanted.
I cannot speak to the actual quality of the service or the food. As I was not able to get served any food because they didn't have any pastries to serve me. I'm marking that as a one-star because there's no zero!
Parking: Poorly designed lot. Often many of the spots are blocked by the drive-through line. Should you pick the wrong one (or have unlucky timing), you may have trouble getting out of your spot because cars in the drive-thru will block you in before developing sudden onset blindness.
Kid-friendliness: Not at all.
Wheelchair accessibility: Minimum accessibility as required by law.
