I ordered the pasta and scallops dish for lunch. The pasta portion was small and tasteless. There were three very small scallops on top that were featured to be "Japanese scallops". I was also charged an additional $4. for a narrow slice of bread.
I was very disappointed with the size, cost and taste of the meal.
Otherwise, the server was friendly and attentive.
Absolutely fantastic food and service from this unassuming little gem of a restaurant really. Can't say enough good things! You'll never go wrong with The Loon in Lakefield.
