“I've been here several times over the years and this restaurant is consistently good. It's cozy and low-key with very affordable prices and delicious food. I got the gyro which was good, despite the meat being a little overcooked. I also had a side soup which had a surprising amount of black pepper in it which was fine for me, but a bit too much for my partner. I'd rather it was served with less salt and pepper and leave additional seasoning to the diners.

The staff were very friendly and the facilities are kept clean. Service was quick as well.“

The owner contacted me throughout the week to confirm reservations and made suggestions to make our dining experience memorable. The food was delicious and our server, Amanda, was incredible. “The entire experience was amazing. Jera took my reservation a month ahead of time and clarified all the dietary requirements of my guests, with excellent communication. We were treated promptly at our arrival with course after course of creative, delicious, and beautiful dishes. Our host Annie made us instantly comfortable and at home. Everything on the plate was done with a purpose. I was so impressed how every item was crafted with great care and obvious high level difficulty. To my surprise, Chef Brian also does out of this world pastries and chocolates. My highlight was a made in the chef’s kitchen “Willy Wonka Chocolate Box”! We came to celebrate a birthday and the subtle touches made to make it special to my adult guest was very thoughtful and appropriate.

“I have been coming to this location for a couple of years for a number of reasons.
The food is always top-notch and are constantly upgrading their menu.
The managers are helpful and very supportive and know their job.
The wait staff are the real heroes of this story. Time and time again, the servers and bar staff are the main reasons that make the night always so enjoyable. They are personable, uber-friendly, and will support patrons in any way to make their stay at Jack Astors enjoyable.
There are so many servers to point out for their excellence, but I am going to point out FIL!
FIL has been a constant at Jack Astors, and we are thankful for his humor, his charm, and constant assistance. His knowledge of the menu and drinks is extremely impressive, and he is a perfect mix of professional server and helpful restaurant friend!!
We go to Jack Astors for the food, the trivia, and the ambiance, but we really go for the servers like FIL who make us feel like we are with friends.

“Moxie was great. The service was fast and friendly. The food was very good. We got our free birthday brownie! My only concern is not specific to the restaurant but parking. It was a rainy icy day and we parked right behind the restaurant. Less than two hours and the cost to park was $25! That could keep me from going back to Moxie‘s very often.“

“Ordered late at night, drove and picked up. We were greeted at the door by a very nice women. The breading on the chicken is amazing! I have had a lot of different Chinese food but nothing like this. Honestly better than KFC and Popeyes combined! The lemon sauce to go with it complimented the chicken very well. My kids that don't overly like Chinese food really enjoyed the chicken and sauce. The vegetable rice was delicious. As someone who doesn't like too much soya in my rice this was perfect. It had the flavor but it wasn't overpowering. I'm sorry other people had bad experiences, but I had a fantastic experience and will be definitely ordering again in the future. Also I find the prices to be very fair and the portions to be great as well.“
