“The place to be for the classics!

Husband and I have been going on breakfast dates on weekends without the kids for the past little while. What we do is open up Google map, search for “brunch” and “open now” and pick one from the list wherever we are at that moment. Today’s choice is again something we passed by many times but never actually went in at James Place Restaurant.

We were seated promptly and been asked what we would like to order for drinks by a staff member before a server is available.

My mocha coffee with maple syrup and cinnamon without cream or milk is very delicious and hubby’s hot coffee is bottomless as expected.

Server took our order shortly after our drinks arrived and food was delivered very quickly. Despite that, we can tell everything is freshly prepared. We enjoyed every bite and had leftovers to bring home.

We loved this place and will mark it for a place we can return for brunch.

“I highly recommend Taverna 1331. We had an enjoyable evening with a large group of 11, most of which came from out of town. The owner contacted me throughout the week to confirm reservations and made suggestions to make our dining experience memorable. The food was delicious and our server, Amanda, was incredible. She was patient, friendly and fun. Rob the owner, made an effort to greet us as we were leaving to reassure we had a great experience. Thank you for a fabulous evening.“

“Cozy, fun and so very yummy! It was my first visit to this location of ENAT. Didi took very good care to answer questions about the menu and guide myself and my friend to the wonderful choice of a platter of 5 different lentil, vegetable, beef & chicken curries. I loved using the injera bread (beneath the curries) to scoop up the food and pop the juicy goodness into my mouth! I’ll be back!“

“It’s my first time at Pickle Barrel & I had the PB bacon cheeseburger. It was really good. Tasty & satisfying. The milkshakes are gigantic!😂

The server, Austin, was great & efficient. Sounds like there’s a bit of friendly competition between him & server Amanda too haha. She was very nice & friendly & came to talk to us a bit, wishing my dad & brother happy birthdays. All around nice people working here☺️

Her system went down so she had to pivot and handled the situation really well! The only reason I gave service a 3 is because we were 2 hours from the time we sat until we paid. “I visited Milestones on a Thursday evening and had a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was calm and quiet ideal for a relaxed dinner without the usual hustle and bustle. It felt like a perfect mid-week treat. I ordered the Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad with added steak and it did not disappoint. The salad was fresh and well-balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness from the beets and creaminess from the goat cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly and added a satisfying, hearty touch to the dish. Everything was nicely presented and full of flavor. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, a great spot for a peaceful dinner with quality food. I'd definitely go back.“

“Kelseys North in London is a comfortable place to have food and conversation with friends. This was the purpose of our semi-annual gathering. “We came on a Friday night with our two young kids and had the best experience we’ve had eating out in a while! Our server was Bella - she was perfect! We had our order taken right away, our drinks and food were delivered in a timely manner, food was excellent and exactly as ordered, and bill and desserts were delivered in great timing as well. We couldn’t be happier with the service given as it made our kids happy to have food quickly and Bella was very friendly and interactive with them. Thank you for a great Friday night dinner!“

“Ordered late at night, drove and picked up. We were greeted at the door by a very nice women. The breading on the chicken is amazing! I have had a lot of different Chinese food but nothing like this. Honestly better than KFC and Popeyes combined! The lemon sauce to go with it complimented the chicken very well. My kids that don't overly like Chinese food really enjoyed the chicken and sauce. The vegetable rice was delicious. As someone who doesn't like too much soya in my rice this was perfect. It had the flavor but it wasn't overpowering. I'm sorry other people had bad experiences, but I had a fantastic experience and will be definitely ordering again in the future. Also I find the prices to be very fair and the portions to be great as well.“
