“Once in a while when I go to pick up bread at the Portuguese bakery, I smell an amazing BBQ smoke smell coming from a couple of businesses down. It smells amazing and gets my get taste buds watering. I finally decided to pick up some jerked chicken and I was not disappointed. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned. The jerk sauce was good if a bit on the mild side. I tend to eat on the crazy spicey side, so the spice level is probably good for most people. I can't wait to try their goat and pork. I'd recommend picking some fresh Portuguese bread to go along with the BBQ dish. Through in a nice bottle of red wine, and you have an amazing meal.“

“We booked last minute for our rehearsal dinner, and the staff was helpful. We ordered several Lasagnas and had them delivered to our airbnb and they were very accommodating. The food was delicious and though the site said a lasagna feed 6-8 we had tons of leftovers which I was not sad about. This place has amazing food and great customer service! 10/10 recommend.“

“I had the Marconi Club cater a special birthday party recently and the service was amazing. We had an outdoor dinner Italian style and the staff set the tables beautifully and served the food as if we were at a banquet hall. My guests raved about the food and couldn't say enough about the service. Jason was great to work with as I was planning the menu and organizing the party. I will definitely be hiring the Marconi Club for my future parties!“

The meal was absolutely amazing, the appetizers were so good and very creative. The guests raved about the food all night! They were amazing at the bar, very attentive to our guests and made us feel taken care of at all times. They are extremely flexible and offer lots of options for allergies and meal restrictions that guest may have. We had to change our location and menu in the middle of planning due to Covid, and they were quick to help us adjust at a new location. Kristian, Jodi and the team of servers and bar tenders went over and above on our wedding day. They helped us to set up before the wedding and made sure the venue looked stunning. We went back to clean up our venue the next day and they had taken care of the majority already. A truly amazing choice for your catering and bar tending needs for your special day!“

“I visited with a friend for lunch, this was my first visit to The Windmill. I ordered from the set menu, 2 courses. My starter was mushrooms which were delicious, so delicious that I I could have had more. My main course was the chicken burger with fries which was tasty. My friend ordered prawns as a starter and the fish and chips as the main course. She commented that her food was good. I thought the 2 course set menu was a good price, I think it was £18.50. The staff were friendly and efficient. I thought the pub decor was lovely and very welcoming. Most of the tables were full so there was a good atmosphere. My only negative was at times I felt chilly, but I wondered if the main door of the pub had been left open as I knew the radiator near me was working. I would highly recommend and I know I will return“

“I came for the dinner for one. the food was very hot and fresh, greatly packaged and came with all of the sauces needed. The portion size was literally huge ! I laughed to myself that it was for just me because it was enough for 3 people easily. the amount of chicken in the chicken and mushroom chow mein was honestly humbling and amazing it was so much I felt bad for not leaving a tip ! The pork fried rice was maybe the best I’ve ever had as well you could taste the breath of the wok and again so much pork !! Great tasting as well ! This is definitely a hidden gem in Byron. The lady working was very friendly and fast. Greaty ran business. 10/10“
