Quick and good service, nice food and reasonably priced. The sitting space can be made more comfortable and classy by switching the chairs with booth type sofas. Shakes were also very flavourful. A must try!

Saw sign re Kawartha Ice Cream & “Shakes” on sign. Went in to order a cone & wanted two 1scoop cones. Girl said they don’t serve 1scoop cones -guess this is also “not” a place to take kids ……! We knew the quality of the ice cream as we have had it before-quality product.This place is mainly a food place serving Indian Food which you don’t see on their lit outdoor sign -says “Shakes”. Four other people there eating were Indian & being served Indian food. We don’t like their food - spicy & not for us! Only real complaint were dirty glass entry doors plus walking outside -sidewalks & parking area were filthy with litter & hundreds of re-smoked cigarette butts ? We live near Southdale/Wonderland Rd area -we never see this in the shopping area ? We will just buy our Kawartha Ice Cream at grocery stores vs paying 11.00 for 2 cones!

Parking: Filthy area -parking lot has a lot of trash & hundreds of well used cigarette butts on ground. Saw homeless people hanging out there -sad.

We had idli dambhar vada and pav bhaji once as take out, then next time had plain dosa, mysore masala dosa and chef’s signature cheese dosa for dine in. All were amazingly tasty. And their shakes and cakes are a must try. We tried their chocolover crazy shake and truffle crazy shake, both were great. We did felt it a tid bit pricey, but the overall experience made it all worth. Definitely recommended.

I ordered maisur onion masala dosa however, there was no onion in it and they charge for it $1.50 extra for onion, I didn’t like taste of samosa’s. Sambhar was too thick. Not recommended at all.
