We visited for my birthday dinner on a Sunday and had a fantastic meal. Everything we had was great. The smoked garlic appetizer, the Garlic's burger with frites, and the herbed chicken with rissotto were all delicious.
For dessert the creme brulee was tasty and we also got a sample of the garlic ice cream. It was actually amazing. We love garlic and weren't even expecting to like it but we loved it.

Michigan native came in for my partners birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. The service was great very polite and helpful. The food was out of this world good. We had the garlic burger with fries and herbed chicken with risotto and a roasted garlic bulb appetizer, even the free house bread was amazing. They threw in dessert for free for her birthday. Creme Brule was awesome and if you're a garlic lover definitely at least try a sample of the garlic ice cream I couldn't believe how good it was.

Google said that London Ontario was “the unhappiness city in Canada”, which, upon first glance, I was leaning towards it. But, this restaurant saved my judgement.
Garlic’s of London is a vampires worst nightmare and a garlic lovers dream. With excellent service and great food that’s sure to keep everyone away from your breath. The menu is diverse and combines garlic into every dish, giving every item a unique spin and highly flavour touch. I highly recommend the duck breast, the pork and the cream brûlée as it tied together for the perfect meal to end the day with.
If you’re passing through the unhappiest city in Canada, and want to be a bit less glum, please visit this restaurant to save you from feeling down and from any and all vampires. Forever.

The food and presentation were great. The server was sweet and explained every dish well. The prices are slightly on the higher end, however, it’s a great fine dining experience for once in a while. I’d come again. Taste wise I would rate dishes from great to good in the following order: 1. Salmon 2. Herbed Chicken 3. Duck Breast.
Vegetarian options: Vegan/Vegetarian available.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan food available.

Absolutely worst experience of fine dining. Spent $180 here and yet couldn’t get a cooked salmon. My server saw it was raw, cold, and didn’t offer any discounts, nor dessert. No reward for celebrating with them, don’t come here for fine dining. Expect to be disappointed. Also, expect for the server to forget about your coat after offering to take it. I had to remind them after the bill was settled and we were about to walk out. It’s truly not worth it. Lastly, the bread basket was cold and only came with two slices of bread. The dip was all olive oil no balsamic and barely any chili flakes. Lost my appetite and started feeling nauseous, listen to that one person who said they have food poisoning from here

Decided to book a reservation at Garlic’s before seeing Matilda at The Grand on Friday! Booking was easy and we were late due to traffic which was not a problem - we did call ahead and let them know.
We arrived for 5:45 and it started filling up quickly after we arrived so definitely call to reserve. The atmosphere was inviting and elegant - some of the tables and chairs appeared a bit dated and our table was wobbly. A fitting environment for being downtown London.
Our waitress was super kind and other waitresses would stop by and ask how we were doing. We ordered a Garlic’s Caesar salad and the charcuterie board as a starter - along with Pinot Noir. The salad was delicious. The board was yummy too but we felt there was not enough meat and pickled veggies for two people - still delicious. You are provided a bread basket and oil too.
For our entrees, I ordered the beef tenderloin - delicious! Not a big portion of food but just enough and cooked to perfection. My friend ordered the Hot Smoked Garlic Fettuccine. She did not expect it to be oil based, not sauce and also requested no spice so they cooked it without the chili oil. The portion was great. It was light and delicious. Fresh parm to boot!
For dessert we had the crème brûlée - it was perfect! Just the right size!
Overall a great experience, no wait time, friendly and efficient service, clean and lovely to be next door to The Grand!

Food was very good and clearly geared for a fine dining experience. Portions are modest for the price. The wait staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I expect this would be a popular dinner spot before a show at the grand theater.

We enjoyed an excellent meal prior to going to the theatre. Our servers Samantha and Sabrina were absolutely amazing. Samantha was in training and being shadowed by Sabrina however it was clear that they both have had plenty of experience in the restaurant industry. We were celebrating both my wife’s and sister-in-law’s birthday and they made it a special night. Aside from the amazing service our meals were excellent in terms of presentation and taste. A definite 5 out of 5!

Met out of town friends for lunch on a Sunday. It was a bit quiet but great for conversation. It might be a different atmosphere on a busy evening. Our server was very attentive but not intrusive. The menu offered a nice selection of choice. The roasted pear and prosciutto salad was excellent as was the steak & frites. My husband has mussels whenever possible and he like these. Our friends had the waldorf salad and a pasta dish and were very pleased with the quality. Also the bread and olive oil was so good we asked for a second basket. Nice small portion of sorbet for dessert. Highly recommend the restaurant and the food.
We came into London to take my mother to lunch and decided on Garlics. It's been years since I've been but you didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, my husband really enjoyed the garlic bisque and the service was top notch. I apologize I don't remember the name of our waitress but she was very personable and attentive. Overall our experience was wonderful.
