I’ve been coming here for over a year and a half, and I’ve never had a single issue with Isha. She’s always kind, hardworking, and has an amazing attitude. I’m really picky with food because I like eating well, and the main reason I keep coming back is because of the great service and energy she brings. Honestly, if it were up to me, I’d come Monday to Friday, but unfortunately she doesn’t work every day. I only come during the shifts when she’s working in the afternoons, because that’s when I know the food and service will be great. If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t be coming here.
This isn’t just a restaurant , it’s an experience. And not in a good way. I walked in hungry and hopeful, and left hot, horrified, and hunted by flies. First off, the temperature inside was well over 35°C like I walked into a malfunctioning tandoor. I was sweating harder than your chicken on the grill, and by the time my food arrived, I was already dehydrated. Are you trying to replicate desert conditions for “authenticity”? Then came the flies because the door was left open. Flying over tables and customers like they paid rent. One even had the audacity to land on my shawarma. I don’t know if you’re running a kitchen or a fly sanctuary, but the line between both has definitely blurred. I’ve seen cleaner conditions in street stalls. And the washroom? An actual health hazard. No tissue, no soap, a smell that hit me like a punch to the face, and a floor so wet and dirty I wasn’t sure whether to step or swim. That place needs a deep clean and probably a priest. Owner, this place needs serious help, not just a fix, but an intervention. Until then, I’m warning people to stay far, far away.

This place is absolutely amazing!! The rice, the fries, the chicken, it all comes together to make a perfect combo. I was in Toronto for just a few days and I ended up here twice! Definitely try the chicken half half

Absolutely outstanding food. Price/portion ratio is great and the staff are very nice and genuine.
The store itself seems a little rough but that's to be expected in the downtown core seeing as we're a sanctuary city and the London Police don't do a thing to help business owners from vandals, thieves and the homeless.
