LPB has the most delicious buns. I go out of my way just to get them. Not the greatest location to access and cash only but still 100 percent worth it.

Charming little ethnic bakery; nice baker waited on us. We got freshly baked Portuguese custard tarts, and they were absolutely delicious! Flaky pastry, and the filling was smooth and just the right amount of sweetness. Exactly what we were looking for!

I asked my husband to stop at the bakery to pick up some Portuguese bread, something I haven't done in a while. We selected our bread and attempted to pay with a debit card, but the rude woman behind the counter informed us that they only accept cash. She then had the audacity to tell my husband, "make her pay," overstepping her boundaries and disrespecting our marriage. Who does she think she is to dictate what my husband should do?
When I pointed out that he is my husband, she retorted, "I have a husband too," as if that justifies her disrespectful behavior. This is unacceptable. Her attitude was not only rude but also unprofessional, and it reflects poorly on her character. It’s clear she is avoiding paying taxes to Revenue Canada by only accepting cash, and she should be ashamed of herself for treating customers poorly.
I should not have to tolerate such behavior, especially when I was the one who wanted to stop there in the first place. Her actions were not only insulting but also gave the impression that she was trying to flirt with my husband, which is completely inappropriate. I will never return to this bakery again. Customer service matters, and she needs to learn how to treat people, especially couples, with respect. FYI CRA.

Walked in because my son loves their buns that we get from No frills and we wanted fresher and as we entered we were welcomed with a great smile and excellent service. Highly recommend this place. Perfect little home-feeling
