This location is great. The staff are the sweetest beans. They did inform me that Starbucks is getting rid of lactose free milk but I'm hoping this is a location based issue.

Such an awful experience. My name starts with S. I repeated it twice, and then they typed a “C” instead. I don't know why. If you can, just ask me how to spell it!! And the drink tasted like plastic. I wanted less ice, but they gave me a full ice drink. Is it an April Fool’s joke??? First time here, and never again.

poor customer service, staff are rude and always preoccupied with their personal conversations. They don't ever have dark roast, and will not brew it if you order online ahead. Even if you order 15 minutes ahead, you will arrive to no coffee, and instead the staff will ask if you want to wait another 5 minutes (despite giving them plenty of time) or replace it with Pike place. With the new set up where you now pour your own sugar and milk, the company still seems to think we should tip.

This place is the worst Starbucks in the city. Long wait times for terrible drinks. Isn’t it a franchise? Why do the drinks I order from other locations taste SO much better? Their espresso that they use for the lattes tastes like weak tea on a good day. I ordered a Mocha via the app this morning and it literally tastes like the bad breath of someone who may or may not have had a coffee earlier. Totally inedible!

Slowest Starbucks ever. I order from the app and when I get there they haven’t even looked at the printer to start. Easily waste 15 minutes waiting after arriving.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They even remember me after months away, which is a nice touch. The coffee is decent, and it’s a reliable spot for a quick drink or snack.
However, there are a few downsides. The wait can be a bit long during busy times, so adding an extra barista might help. The removal of seating during COVID hasn’t been reversed, even though there’s space for it. This takes away from the cozy cafe feel Starbucks is known for.
Another issue is the blocked-off bathroom, which seems to be used for storage. It doesn’t make sense for a cafe to lack restroom access, and reopening it would be a big improvement.
Overall, I enjoy coming here thanks to the great staff and consistent drinks, but bringing back seating and bathroom access would make it feel more inviting.
A few years ago I was there every day for quite a few years for an excellent Americano they used to make me as soon as they would see me. Back then they were chatty and friendly in any store. Today the coffee was very weak, no sweatener was put in as I ordered, and barely any milk added as I ordered. I had to walk back, ask for the mixing stick and sweatener. They do not keep it freely available as years ago. The workers looked overworked and not happy as they used to be. The place used to be full of people sitting and having good times and now there is no chair but just an empty room. I am particularly sorry that I did not give the tip and the coffee money to numerous homeless people outside. Starbucks was my favorite coffee for many years in any city. The last few years, Americano taste is so poor in any Canadian or US store or airport I had it. Unfortunately Starbucks is going down the Second Cup path, used to be good and then the quality was none. Sad. 😢

extremely rude baristas. i ordered and saw a customer leave the bathroom so assumed it would be open for customers. i also saw a sign on the stall saying it wasnt a staff bathroom and was only open for customers. as soon as i was about to open the door, a barista came through and stopped me from going inside with a horrible attitude. absolutely unacceptable.
