The food is pretty good for the most part, which is why it’s especially disappointing how bad the service is. Ordered a cold black sticky rice with taro and pearl delight but the pearl delight was not chewy as it should be. We simply asked for a new batch of chewy pearl delight as we came specifically for this dessert. We were informed that the pearls were made some 12 hours ago and that the only way to make it chewy was to heat up the whole dessert (ordered cold). We refused and they refunded the order and dumped out the dessert in front of us.
We had the same issue before where they simply gave us a new batch of heated pearl delight. If all you needed to do to make pearl delight chewy was to heat it up, why wasn’t it done in the first place? The pearl delight tasted like it had been refrigerated overnight.

We went there last week during the weekend and we all love the place! Sweet cozy and lots of different choices! We ordered a lot of different food, some are great others just okay! My favourite was the taro drink!

I always order banana bubble tea without ice, but this time, the girl who made my drink at 2:40 PM added water. I could taste the difference, and I hope this doesn’t happen again. thank you

Sugar Marmalade was my favourite and comfort restaurant from last 3 years, I was coming here almost every other week and sometimes twice, I love the food and everything about the restaurant and its all just amazing! However, costumer service can be improved, we ordered something that we didnt like at all, its definitely our fault that we ordered something that we didn’t know about but when we spoke to the supervisor of this place and told her our problem we were told that we will not refund your order coz you ordered it and you didnt know, which i completely understand, but just offering something else instead of that dish or atleast doing something about it would have solved the issue. I hope the owner takes this in consideration and train the staff accordingly. A good service goes a long long way, and keeps you guests intact. Its not the first time its happening thats why I am posting a review this time. Sadly, I wont be coming here for a very long time now 😢 Until then good luck and thank you for you service until now

Amazing atmosphere and ambiance here!! Feels like you are transported into another city or something.
You get seated then order via QR code and the food comes very quickly. Water is complimentary of course. The service is above and beyond respectful. 10/10.
We only tried the appetizer dishes (crunchy takoyaki, fish cake, fusion fries, salt and pepper wings) and sticky rice and taro bubble tea.

Service was bad, they only had two employees (1 waitress doing everything) so they def need to hire more people esp during busy hours. Drink was ok (got mango royal drink). Mango shaved ice was lowkey small for $15

Can't comment on the dessert because we never got it. We ordered 5 items at 6:30 PM on a Wednesday night. Only about 4 tables had people. Waited 40 min to see that our order kept getting moved back due to filling incoming online orders. They prioritized online orders over completing orders made in the restaurant. Waited 40 minutes and they didn't even start our order. We informed the person that took our order to cancel the order and we left.
