The employee saw it was a cold snowy day and provided us with a complimentary soup. The soup was great and the food my friend and I ordered was amazing as well. Customer service here is top notch and the quality of the food is wonderful. 10/10 would come again.

On a recommendation from a Lebanese car salesman, my daughter and I, in for a day visit from Cambridge, were off on our way to try yet another shawarma restaurant. This time the great city of London was where we were able to avail of a tasty treat. To call Sultan a restaurant is a stretch in the sense it is more of a food outlet since it’s not a place where you sit and eat, but their menu items are oh so good. The hours at Sultan are excellent – 10:30 am to 11:00 pm. We’ve been coming to Sultan for about a year and a half now. I love the fact that they remember me every time I come – the unlikely ‘agnabi’ – non Arab looking guy who attempts to speak in Arabic. Super warm Arab hospitality every time. The guys at the cash register, perfectly bilingual I must add, always patiently oblige me with an exchange in Arabic. We have tried both the chicken and beef shawarmas, but most definitely have developed an appreciation for their beef shawarmas, in particular. With a garlic spread and hummous are a must otherwise the beef can be a bit dry on its own. Even a couple of days later the shawarmas are still pretty good after a little warming up in the microwave. Once again, on this most recent visit to Sultan, in response to a repeated request from my teenaged daughter, the fare at Sultan was on point. You won’t be disappointed!
