“Stopped into Magic Sushi today to grab a little bits and was so pleasantly surprised. The place has such a cozy atmosphere and feels how restaurants used to feel before they got all overly modernized. The food was fresh and delicious (I ordered the vegetable dumplings and 6 pieces of spicy crab and tempura sushi). The service was perfect. I can't wait to go back again sometime soon!“

“Have always seen Umiya Sushi when driving through downtown London. Thought to go and order something tonight to see if I may have a new local favourite. I was greeted upon entry by a lovey younger gentleman, he was very polite and friendly. Even when I was picking up my order 3 minute until closing.

I got the Salmon Trio and an extra miso soup. If I knew how wonderful my all around experience would have been I would’ve never been to any other sushi restaurant.

And may I say, some of the freshest salmon I have ever had. I was beyond impressed, especially for my first time going. I will be going by to try more now that I know the quality.

All around a 10/10 truly recommend to anyone who is looking for a new favourite restaurant.“

“Im not one to be snobby, but for the sake lf this review I will be haha. I spent a week in Tokyo, enjoying all the food it had to offer. Ozen is the only place in Canada that I've been too, that has food of the same or better quality than I had in Japan. Ozens sushi is out of this world, and their Ramen is to die for, simply amazing. The only thing stopping me from eating there more, is my bank account. If you're looking for amazing Korean/ Japanese food, you've come to the right place.“

“My son really loves nigiri so we went there to buy two nigiri combos with tuna and salmon. But there was nothing left. We asked the chef if she could make two for us. She was so kind that she made what we wanted right away. My son was fully satisfied with her kindness and the taste of nigiri. So fresh and yummy! Two thumbs up!“

You can pretty much customize anything you want to your liking, making it perfect for vegetarians and vegans. The price is pretty reasonable considering the amount of food you get.“

Makira Sushi is hands down our absolute favorite sushi spot. We order from them about once a week, and every single time the food is fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The quality is consistently outstanding — you can truly taste the care they put into everything they make.

This past Sunday, we had one of the most touching customer service experiences we’ve ever had. It was about 15 minutes before closing, and we suddenly had the idea to do sushi for dinner. I thought, oh no, they’re probably closing, but my husband called anyway. Without hesitation, they said “no problem at all” and happily accommodated us.

Not only that — they gave us extra food we didn’t even order, enough for two full dinners and even the next day. When we tried to pay for the extra food, they refused to charge us. That level of kindness, generosity, and genuine care is something you almost never see anymore.

The service is unreal, the owners are incredible people, and the food is always unbelievable. I truly wish more businesses operated with this kind of heart and integrity. Places like Makira Sushi deserve more than five stars — they deserve seven stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

“I’ve really enjoyed eating here. The stuff is lovely, nice atmosphere but specially the food is good and the portions are quite generous. I had a bento and sushi MU, and it was quite filling but, specially, was so good! I’ve really enjoyed it. I will definitely come back again.“
