“So i haven't lived in london in like a decade, or very close to it. And i hadn't been back until Sun Aug 24th 2025. It was absolutely, just as amazing as I remember, and was totally worth almost missing my train because i have short legs and couldnt walk any faster. Next time i wont wait so long. THANK YOU.

“This is absolutely a hidden gem. I can't recommend this place enough! Definitely my new go-to phở restaurant in London now!! I even went with my mom who is THE hardest judge of Vietnamese food, and even she loved it! The food reminded me so much of my mom's cooking, so it's a comfort place for me since I'm from out of town. The only downside I will say is the smoothies taste a little watery, but other than that, the food is 100% a must-try. Don't miss out on the delicious flavours this restaurant offers!“

“This is a little hole-in-the-wall Thai place that we discovered after walking the Sifton Bog trails. There is not much seating: four tables with 4-6 chairs at each in a space about the size of an average living room. The food was really excellent and they seemed to be quite busy with take-out orders and pickups. There were also 3 parties of people (including us) eating in. The spring rolls had just the right crunch: the type that makes your mouth water when you hear someone take that first bite. The pad thai was a unique style that did not rely on a tomatoey sauce, and was very flavourful - noodles were perfect. Penang with beef was excellent - my favourite curry. The Spicy Noodles were done just right and had a good amount of heat without being overbearing. They were not shy with the basil, and I was glad of that! The Coconut soup was a very generous portion that my wife and I shared. It was very well done with the kefir lime really standing boldly in contrast to the sweetness of the coconut milk. Portions are very generous, and we took home plenty of leftovers. Kitchen noise is very prominent if you choose to eat in, and drinks are served in paper take-out cups so if atmosphere is important to you, consider taking this excellent food to a place that is conducive to your enjoyment of a special meal.

Parking: Small parking lot available behind the business with about 10-12 spaces. This is shared with surrounding businesses. Best to enter lot off Gainsborough Rd. (from the East or West). You can also turn right into the lot if you're heading North on Hyde Park Rd. There is a median on Hyde Park Rd. that makes left turns into the lot impossible from the south-bound lanes.“

“Big portions of fresh and fragrant Thai staples served up quickly and for a good price. Super friendly service and happy to tailor your dish to your tastes. It’s busy during the lunch rush for a reason but fret not as they move quickly to get you through in time.“

“We got here because another restaurant we wanted to visit closed for the day and we thought this was still a Ben Thanh location. We were twice bitten and hungry at this point. The service was good and the food was OK. I wont make a point of driving across the city to visit this location again but if Im in the neighbourhood, I would 100% eat here again.“

“Hakka Chinese Kitchen is one of the best Chinese spots in London, Ontario! Their afternoon special combos are great — the portions are generous and super satisfying.

I really like that the food doesn’t have too many artificial colors or overly strong flavors, so it’s tasty but not overwhelming. Service is friendly, and the overall vibe is nice and relaxed.

After eating here, I haven’t had any issues, which says a lot about the quality. Definitely a go-to if you’re craving good Chinese food in London!“

Tonight I called after making the order and asked them to make it spicy. They did not disappoint. I went out of my way to call the restaurant and thank them for my delicious food. “This place has many plate options. I had a hard time to decide. The food was hot and fresh with large portions. The flavors were well defined and I had spicy shrimp dry and hakka mixed rice. Restaurant was bright and clean. Prices were very reasonable!

“We have been pleased with Mikado's food over the last few years. Sashimi is fresh, sushi rolls are well prepared, tempura is good, and we like their recent additions to the menu. BUT, Mikado please keep your Skip, DoorDash, and Uber Eats menus up-to-date. None of Mikado's new menu items are available on Skip/DoorDash/Uber.“
