It was a Friday and my friend and I wanted to get together for a fish and chips lunch. I have had fish and chips at Sweet Onion a few years ago and absolutely loved them. Also loved sitting outside on the large patio. This time the fish was in a rice flour batter and it was very crispy but a bit too thick. The chips were excellent and the slaw was very delicious. This is a nice spot to meet for good food in Wortley Village. The staff are pleasant and the atmosphere is cute. I enjoyed a Sandwich, the fries were really good. We were a party of 4, everyone enjoyed their food.
The service was absolutely wonderful, however, the sweet onion burger was slightly dry and the house salad was lackluster. I feel that stronger seasoning/more sauce could have been used for the salad and burger.
