V Food Spot is a must-visit restaurant in London, offering a variety of hearty, healthy, and delicious vegan options that cater to both vegans and non-vegans. The menu is entirely plant-based, making it a haven for vegetarians. Customers have praised dishes like the cauli wings, mozzarella sticks, poutine, hunny garlic wing wrap, mac and cheese, and the Reuben sandwich. The wraps have become a favorite among visitors, and the food is served quickly after ordering at the counter.
The restaurant provides great service, and the staff is friendly and happy to answer questions. The chef, who was closing the restaurant and had to be back early to start baking donuts, had amazing customer service and went above and beyond to make the customers' night. The vegan donuts, including the old fashioned, dunkaroonut, and Simpsons, have become a highlight, with one customer even stating they are the "best donuts in London, not just best vegan - just the best!" The restaurant also offers a Crispy Chikn Caesar Sub and an apple fritter, which many customers have found life-changing.
Customers have described the food as "insanely good" and "consistent over the years." The restaurant offers great vegan options for the neighborhood, with the donuts and jackfruit sandwich being particularly popular. While the mac and cheese was disappointing, the bread for both the sandwiches and wraps was great. Customers have also noted that the restaurant would likely make a lot of money if it were a sit-down establishment.
