Recently, I had the pleasure of celebrating a friend’s birthday at Yaya’s Kitchen. We went on a Friday evening for the 5-course, Afro-vegan menu, that was an absolutely delightful dining experience. The vibe was cozy and intimate, with the host (Malvin), chef (Maryam aka Yaya), servers and staff all glowing with an inviting sense of warmth, as they shuffled through the restaurant preparing each course and providing us with an immersive experience that we will never forget....
Excellent food pairing and culture diversification culminating in mouth watering dishes. The cuisine is formed with the connection of cultural practises and imagination of the chef. Would definitely recommend for a wonderful experience.
Amazing food and we appreciated learning about the menu at each step. The wine pairings could come in advance of each course with some more info about why they’re a good match for the food. Overall we loved it and will definitely be back. Thank you!!
