Morning Owl is my go-to cafe in the Riverside South area. Their lattes are reasonably priced and they have great 90’s rock/pop playlists, friendly, approachable, down-to-earth staff and tons of free parking in the parking lot directly beside the cafe. Great place for students to study since there is ample seating on two levels, but bring your headphones since it can get busy at times with morning/lunch meetings!

Decided to pop in and grab a drink as I was in Manotick. The chai was decent, not enough spice. Service was friendly and fast. Price was quite high, about $6-7. Very limited seating inside, fine if it's not busy.

I sauntered into Morning Owl in Manotick this am. Was met with friendly happy people ready to take my order. Completely enjoyed the freshly toasted bagel with tomato, sliced avocado, soft yolk egg , crisp lettuce and of course bacon cooked to perfection . It was delicious and I loved it. Used four napkins but messy food is the best food...always . Cappuccino was tasty and I shall return to this delightful establishment .
