“First time eating here. Food was excellent, everything was very fresh and hot and quick. From the classic onion rings, fresh buns and a great serving of bacon on my burger, with lots of crisp iceberg lettuce. I would highly recommend

A suggestion would be to update the faded outside window decals, we almost missed it driving through as I was not familiar with the area and we’re looking for a place to eat.

“Stopped by on our way to Alliston. Not sure what the name of the desert is called, but it has a little bit of chocolate, coconut, a layer of cream with a thin layer of toffee on top. Together the flavours are to die for. I think this is the best dessert I ever had ever! I bought two and I see myself in the near future driving back to buy more…And how could I forget, the pralines and cream ice cream… Absolutely delicious! :)”

“After a frustrating attempt to make a reservation at another local restaurant that made everything feel unnecessarily complicated, walking into Poppi’s was like a breath of fresh air. From the moment we called, they welcomed our entire hockey team with open arms. No hassle. No stress. Just genuine kindness and an eagerness to help. And they didn’t just “fit us in” — they went above and beyond in a way that truly blew us away. They put together an absolutely incredible buffet that was both delicious and beautifully presented. There was something for everyone — a wide variety of savory dishes and an impressive selection of desserts that had the kids (and parents!) going back for seconds. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the personal touch. When we arrived, they had printed a picture with our team’s name and mascot, framed it, and displayed it right on the buffet table for the kids to see. That small but incredibly meaningful gesture made our players feel special and celebrated. You could see the pride and excitement on their faces. The staff was warm, patient, and so pleasant to deal with from start to finish. Hosting a big group of energetic hockey players isn’t always easy, but they handled it effortlessly and with genuine smiles the entire time. And to top it all off, the price was completely reasonable — especially considering the quality of the food, the generous spread, and the outstanding service we received. “I found this place looking for live entertainment on a Saturday night; they did not have one but it may have been better without a band.Its located 15 minutes away from Blue Mountain.The venue is a renovated Victorian style home. Inside the restaurant is partitioned into three spacious areas with lively conversation everywhere. The crowd was a happy mix of families, friends, dates, seniors etc.The staff were very friendly, professional, attentive and mature - a nice change from the service you may experience in the Village.We cracked a bottle of wine and our table of four tried a good portion of the menu. Started with the pirogies and popcorn shrimp. Mains were the brisket platter, chicken penne, and the two patty Burger with caesar salad and some fries.Only criticism were the desserts were good but I felt there’s some room to improve this part if the experience - an easy fix.Expect to pay a little more but you won’t be disappointed because they’re on par with Village experience.We will be back!”

“Excellent foid but by gollybwe were surprised at the oruce. For a sandwich, even if it is a footlong, with a drink & potato chips for 2 it ran over $ 40.00.

Consider if you will that we can dine on a steak at Chuck's Roadhouse for $ 15.00 for a 7 ounce steak, potato & vegetable.

But the service was friendly & the restroom clean.”
