The Peking duck at Dayali Warden is honestly amazing. The skin is super crispy, the meat is tender and juicy, and everything is packed with flavor. They slice it right at your table, and you can tell it's freshly made. The pancakes are soft and thin, and when you wrap everything together with the sauce and scallions, it just hits the spot. The dishes are way better than the same restaurant operate in Beijing, in terms of quality of ingredient they use. The cooking technique is also pretty close to the one back in Beijing, if you want try some northern Chinese home style dishes, this is the place to go.
Overall experience has gone down since our last visits last year and earlier this year. The prices have gone up. The service is subpar now. The servers need to learn some basic English; not every customer speaks Mandarin. The tea pots and hot water pots were lukewarm so we asked to have them replaced with fresh tea and hot water.
A bit disappointed as this was a hidden gem with amazing value and delicious dishes. It's not the case anymore...
