I ordered Malai Tawa Chaap yesterday and I am extremely disappointed. The amount of oil in this dish was SHOCKING. I literally took out three full tablespoons of oil and it was STILL dripping in grease. How can a restaurant serve something so excessively oily and call it food? It completely ruined the taste and experience.
This is not “malai chaap,” this is chaap swimming in oil. Absolutely unacceptable! I wasted my money and my appetite. Please take your food quality seriously because this was one of the worst meals I’ve ever ordered.
I’ve also been to their other location where the food is actually great. So I know they are capable of serving good quality food — but yesterday was just unacceptable. I feel like I HAVE to call it out because this level of carelessness is shocking.
Never ordering from here again.

I went to Desi Bar & Grill Markham on Diwali, and it was absolutely beautiful! The ambiance was festive and full of positive energy, perfectly capturing the Diwali spirit. The food was amazing, flavourful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection, and the service was warm and attentive.
It truly felt like a celebration great vibes, great people, and even better food. Highly recommend this place, especially for special occasions like Diwali! :)

Pleasant dining experience while celebrating a special ocassion at this hottest Indian restaurant in the markham. Our group tried almost all the vegetarian and non- vegetarian dishes and many varieties of drinks on the menu. Each one was uniquely flavorful and had creative touch to it. The staff is super efficient in keeping this very busy place flowing smoothly. Very refreshing experience overall.

The experience was quite disappointing. We had to wait for nearly an hour and a half for our food. Although the taste was okay, the food was served cold. We went there for a Diwali dinner, but unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy it at all, we just ended up waiting the entire time.

The place is nice they have great food and drinks but the noise is too loud. If you don’t want a headache don’t go on a weekend night. We went with our friends and ordered quite a few dishes which were all great.

I was here on a Friday night for my Dads 70th birthday. He had his best night ever here listening and singing along his fav retro hindi songs. This place has a very positive vibe and enthusiastic staff. We were welcomed by Manshu (hope I got the name right) and other staffs were very friendly. We ordered veg and non veg platters which was sooo yummy.

The food was sooo good. The fries are wallahi to die for. And the hyderebad biryani was so good. The garlic naan was aight.. but the service was amazing. They came up to us and asked us of we were ok every few mins. Overall 4.5 stars
No doubt, food is good, but the service of restaurant is not okay. By themselves they got 13$ tip without telling us , we didn’t know about that method.. we never heard something like that. If you need tip we will give but its wrong way to take money. Please work on that.

It was too slow And whenever we ask for the food they just keep replying its busy it will take 15-20 mins more even it already had 25-30 mins and there was just few tables sitting around! Next time if someone want to come he have to spare 2-3 hours to eat a appetiser and food
