We've had dim sum and dinner here in the past, and it's been decent, but not overly memorable. The food is okay, and the service can be hit or miss, but the restaurant remains popular, with people lining up when it opens in the morning.One of the key reasons for the restaurant's popularity is that it offers morning deals where they offer one pricing for all dim sum sizes before 11am. Not all dim sum restaurants do this anymore (it feels like fewer of them since the pandemic), so that's definitely a draw for this restaurant.The restaurant is not overly cramped, but it's also not the biggest restaurant out there, so seating is limited at peak times. If you're looking to do early dim sum with a larger group, then it's best to go when it opens to ensure you get a table.The location is convenient, with ample parking. The lot immediately outside the restaurant can get busy, but underground parking is also available (albeit slightly more of a trek).

The food was decent, better than normal. Service isn't outstanding but satisfactory.I attended a wedding dinner here, so I haven't tried dim sum or their normal menu. Their lobster was pretty good, a bit different from most normal Chinese restaurants. However, I don't remember the type of lobster dish it was. There was a lot of garlic though.Roasted pork was perfect, still very crispy when it was served. Most dishes were good. I didn't like their end desserts though, it needs a bit of work.

We attended a wedding at this restaurant. Although the food the good, the service was subpar. As a parent, there was no baby changing station in the washrooms.Also we asked two servers for a high chair and after 10 minutes no one came. My husband ended up finding a stack of high chairs at the far end of the room and picked it up himself.I also asked one of the servers for water to fill up my baby bottle for my toddler to drink. She scolded me by responding "you have to specify if you want hot or cold water". So I said I wanted cold water. Then she rudely tells me she only has hot water. What kind of restaurant only serves their guests hot water?! I told her my baby cannot drink scalding hot water. So she rudely replies that she has tap water. She ended up filling it hastily but I don't know why such as simple ask for water would warrant such unprofessional behavior.Also the handicap doesn't work at the front entrance. I was carrying the baby car seat, bags of food and a backpack and had no hands to open the door. Fortunately, a male server came over to help me open the door.It's unfortunate that the restaurant has decent quality food but inconsistent and poor customer service. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Unable to offer cold waterMy wife asked the female server with a ponytail for cold water to fill up a baby bottle for my toddler to drink. She rudely said "You have to specify if you want hot or cold water". My wife requested cold water, but the server rudely says "I only has hot water". What kind of restaurant only serves their guests hot water?! I told her my baby cannot drink scalding hot water. So she rudely replies that "she will get tap water then". I guess the served needs to be educated on how to add ice to water lol.4. Handicap button not workingThe handicap doesn't work at the front entrance. It's unfortunate that the restaurant has decent quality food but inconsistent and poor customer service. I hope a Manager and the Owner sees this review. I will not come back again! Impressive! One of the more solid and subtly creative Chinese restaurants in the city for large group meals

definitely five out of five Cantonese dim sum spot in Markham, the taste of food is the closest to the authentic Cantonese dim sum compared to other Cantonese restaurants in Markham they have changed the taste and flavor a bit to adapt North America style. Most of the dim sum remain the traditional flavor and looking. If you look for great eating environment and fancy looking dim sum, this maybe not the place to go, it will bring you back to 15 years ago Cantonese restaurant style.

Get here early before the lunch rush. We went on a Sunday morning at 10am and got a table for 12 right away. Service is pretty good, food came out fairly quickly and was tasty. Food was not too oily, meat was juicy and fried food was crispy. My favorite dishes were the egg yolk bun, squid tentacles, siu mai, and egg tarts. Would definitely come back here.

Always came here with my grandparents for dimsum since they opened. One of the few dimsum places that maintained a flat fee of $4 per plate (most things on menu), dimsum is still quality!

Since Chinese restaurants reopened for dine-in, majority of the pricing has been increased. However, Elegance is one place that still maintained early morning flat fees for each dim sum dish at $4.This restaurant is always very bright, spacious between each table and service is fast. Most importantly, their dim sums are great in quality, texture and delicious! I love their turnip cakes, savoury meat dumplings, and steamed rice noodle rolls. And if you like durian, their durian pastry too.

Try a lot of Chinese restaurant after reopen of covid 19, this one still keep the good quality of tasted food and services

Roomy and quiet. Good place for meeting friends for chitchatting. Food-wise, there are several other better choices around at competitive price.

We went for dinner. Foods quality, food quality, cleaness, services are all excellent. It is expensive (more like $$$ than $$ as suggested on Google), we paid like $40 per person with a Peking duck/lobster meal plus a side rice dish. I heard dim sum is more like $$. Tip: they already included tips on the bill.

It was my first time having dim sum here. The restaurant was very spacious and the tables were arranged in a good social distance. It was nice to get an early bird discount on a weekday morning. The food quality was quite good & tasted very yummy. The service was great too. Will definitely go back more often.
