We waited about 20 minutes in line but it was honestly worth it - each plate was $9 + tax, portions were big and the bbq pork and roast duck were both juicy and succulent. You even get complimentary broth as well! The owners were also friendly. Make sure to bring cash as they are cash only! The only downside is that the food isn't piping hot. It's just room temperature.

I went here today looking for some good Chinese BBQ. It was a 30 min wait in line and the food court was super packed. Given that it was a Saturday, of course it would be super busy. The menu is very straightforward and the prices are pretty good for the portions. I ordered the BBQ pork, duck and roasted pork with rice. It came with a side of soup that I did not care for. When I opened up the container, my mouth instantly watered with how juicy everything looked. One order can definitely feed two people. My favourite was the duck because it was moist and had flavour. The roasted pork had a nice crisp skin but the meat itself was a little dry and lacked flavour. The BBQ pork was also okay.. it was too dry for my liking. I would've liked more of the ginger green onion sauce because that made everything taste so much better. Overall, it satisfies but not the best I've had. Oh and cash only.

The Extra BBQ House is one of two super popular food court meal shops in the mall. The price was very reasonable and economic. The portions were large and definitely made me feel full with leftovers. There are usually long lines especially on weekends, but weekdays as well so be prepared to wait!

We often pass by here wondering why people form long lines and if it’s really worth it. The long line is definitely worth the wait. My husband has been non-stop raving about their Hainanese chicken rice. I really like their crispy pork :) We are looking forward to going back!

Don't come, wait time is ridiculous, waiting for 1 hour and the food comes to be cold, they cannot even heat it for you. Taste is very average, nothing outstanding. There are too many better options in GTA that is better than this.
Definitely worth lining up for 25 minutes on Saturday. Tasty BBQ duck, Chasu, and crusty crunchy BBQ pork, great value $9.00 for a combo 2 meats combo rice dish. Kudos to chef and owner.Parking: Due to high volume of shoppers, need skills and patience.

If you don’t mind the long lineups and wait, then you’re in for a treat. I got the four combination on steamed rice and it’s a meal that can serve two adults. The salted egg, pork sausage, roasted duck and soya chicken were very tasty. Pair that with the ginger sauce, which I requested extra of, and you got yourself an affordable feast. They also give a soup in the side, which was good as well.

Today is Saturday and there are more people. I queued for 20 minutes to buy. I saw a lot of people queuing up. It was my first time to buy this. After I bought it, I ate it in the car. It was actually cold. The barbecued pork was dry and wood-cut. It was very thick, crispy, and the pork was hard. I couldn’t say it was chewy. I specifically asked for more barbecued pork soup, but what I received was no soup at all. I bought two portions and both were like this. I really don’t understand why there are so many people queuing up! Definitely won't come here a second time! It tastes really bad! Very unpalatable! In addition, the waiter is very rude. If I don’t speak Cantonese, I will be treated differently! !
