A good steamed pork bun but why would you refuse to help cut it half for a 3 year old boy so he doesn’t get burned by the steam. That’s just plain mean.

This place is located inside the World on Yonge Foodcourt. Because of its location, it has deterred me from visiting for years. Parking is so difficult....you have to park underground and its a maze and difficult to figure out where to park so you can enter the right entrance. If you do plan on coming here, park at the Seasons Foodmart entrance and take the escalators up to the second floor of the mall. Hope this helps make things easier for others. Goobok is nestled alongside many other Korean restaurants in this foodcourt, which makes sense as we are in a predominately Korean area. I ordered boiled pork dumplings and steamed shrimp dumplings, and 4 of the twisted donuts (one of each that was available, plain, sugar, cheese and red bean). Once ordered i was given a buzzer and was told about 10 minutes. There isn't much to see or do at this mall, so i did some laps on the second floor to kill time. Once it was time to pick up I grabbed my food to take it home. I opened my dumplings when i got home and saw there was a bit of a mixup. I ordered steamed shrimp dumplings and i got pan fried shrimp dumplings. Turned out to be a good mix up, they were delicious. They seemed to have egg, shrimp and zucchini as the filling. Dumpling skin was thin and lightly panfried. Much thinner than Chinese pan fried dumplings. The boiled pork dumplings were smaller than i was expecting, maybe 1/2 to 2/3 the size i was expecting. But nonetheless was yummy. Looks like there was some chives in the pork filling too. Dumplings came with a soy sauce based dipping sauce and some pickled chayote on the side. Donuts were nice and fluffy, can't really complain about deep fried dough right? Pretty much anyone that buys food there buys their twisted donuts too it seems.

Ordered the pork pan fried dumplings and two twisted donuts (sugar, cream cheese). Dumplings were expensive given the quantity and donuts were hard , and nothing special. Will not be returning.

I saw this place on TikTok, and it looked so good I had to make a trip just to try it. It is located in Shops on Yonge's food court which also seems to have a lot of other hidden gems! It is a cute stall with dumplings, buns, and twisted donuts. I love the variety of dumpling styles that they have. I got the pork steamed dumplings and they were very juicy and full of flavour! The wrappers are thin, but they hold the weight of the filling very well. I really liked the filling of the dumplings, and I definitely want to try other fillings when I go back. The twisted donut was also delicious and made fresh - the staff had said that they were out of some flavours but they could make some more fresh for me! Great service. I really enjoyed the chewy texture of it and it was not too sweet at all. They have very unique and fun flavours of donuts as well. Overall, I would love to see this place get more love! I can't wait to go back!

Absolutely delicious Kkwabaeginor Twisted donuts. For 2 sugar ones, a matcha one, cream cheese and matcha.Crispy on the outside when fresh and has a nice chewy bite. I had to wait a bit as she was prepping for closing, but was super kind about it and gave me an extra sugar 꽈배기 Was totally worth the trek from Scarborough! 감사합니다 사장님!

If I could give zero star, I would. My friend ask for a napkin and the staff said “I gave you more than one”. I said it’s just a napkin… she said “so what”. Like wow!!!! I’ve never seen this anywhere haha.

Incorrect Google opening hours information. What a waste of customers’ time. It says opening on Sunday till 4pm, whereas it’s closed at 2pm when travelled far from home. If you don’t open on Sunday, at least don’t convey wrong information to mislead customers.

Amazing fresh, handmade dumplings and authentic donut twists that taste exactly the same as in Korea! They have ready to eat and frozen dumpling options that are both delicious. We always visit this place when we’re in the area. 많이 파세요~ ^^

My wife and I really liked the steamed pork dumplings. Price is good and portion is great! I really like that dumplings come with appetizer and complimentary tea.

We got Twisted Donut in Red Bean flavour. The Donut came in a Braided twist, filled with Red Bean Paste, sweetness was perfect, soft on the inside, and crispy on the outside! They also have other flavours, which we will be returning to try out!!

The flavours were extremely fresh and was at the level of homemade,(at least in my family): they were simple but extremely tasty.I had the shrimp dumplings (loved the chives in them), the kimchi dumplings and the veggie buns. I loved them all! full of savoury flavour, the veggie dumplings would probably make my vegetarian friends drool. The twisted donuts were good, but the dumplings and buns were more enjoyable. I had the sugar twisted donut, which reminded me of churros, and a cheese, which was more savoury that sweet. I will be going back! It's a new Korean favourite of mine.Warning: the buns and dumplings are extremely temperature hot! They need a bit of time to cool down.
