Came here for my birthday. Food was fresh and delicious (much better than the Uber Eats order I got from the same place) and staff were nice.

Sushi were tasty and fresh with nice presentation.
Crab meat meal with good quality and quantity crab meat. The meal comes with a pot of hot soup. You can pour the soup with rice to end the meal.
Oyster with cheese were very tasty

The service at this sushi restaurant was absolutely terrible. The staff were rude, inattentive, and seemed like they didn’t care about customers at all. We had to wait a long time just to be seated, and it was even harder to get anyone’s attention after that. The overall experience was very frustrating and disappointing.

What made it worse was the food. The sushi did not taste fresh, and after eating there, I ended up with diarrhea and stomach pain. This is completely unacceptable for a restaurant, especially one serving raw fish. Food safety should be a top priority, but it clearly was not in this case.

I will definitely not be coming back, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointing experience overall.

Gyudon was delicious. The beef was well seasoned and well cooked. Soft serve matcha ice cream was served in a big portion, and had good matcha flavour. Servers were kind, and didn't take too long to deliver our food. Overall, it was a nice experience, and will come again.

Ordered 2 bara don take out delivery and specifically asked for condiments and utensils. Yet it comes with nothing but the soup and food.

Are we supposed to scoop the don with our hands???

This is not the first time this has happened from Hana don but this will be the last time we will order anything from them. I understand restaurants want to cut cost, but if you want to cheap out on couple quarter worth of chop sticks and soya sauce then you have to rethink your business model and operation.

There’s many other Japanese restaurants and this one won’t be missed.
