HongKong Egglet Reviews
Service is horrendous. Arrived at Thomson Plaza outlet at 2.30pm, only to be told by the staff that she is having her lunch break till 3pm.
Fair enough, workers need rest too.
I came back to the outlet at 3.01pm, only to find the counter unmanned. The staff finally returned at 3.10pm, only for her to say she is not ready to serve and will need another 10 minutes to be ready to even start taking orders.
Obviously, I walked off without an order because I can't...read full review
I personally wouldn’t recommend the mango pomelo dessert. The mango didn’t taste very fresh, and the flavor was a little strange. Maybe it’s just because it’s not mango season, but it wasn’t my favorite.
The egg waffles, on the other hand, are a solid 10/10! They offer different filling flavors, and the waffles are perfectly crispy on the outside while staying soft and fluffy on the inside. Definitely give the egg waffles a try they’re absolutely worth ordering!
Ever time I'm at 1st Markham I have to get either the brown sugar machine or durian egg waffle here!! SO GOOD!!! BRING CASH!!!

HongKong Egglet, located in Thomson Plaza and inside First Markham Place near an exit, offers a variety of high-quality egglet fillings, including a notably delicious durian egg waffle. The dessert is praised for its warm and comforting nature, with a soft interior and a slightly crispy exterior. Customers enjoy the crispy outside and the fluffy, airy inside of the egglets, with some trying different flavors like seaweed pork floss, which they find tasty though not always crispy enough. The store's clean and bright storefront attracts passersby. For an extra treat, customers can add $4 to get a large drink from the menu. Prices are considered reasonable given the high-quality and generous portions of the egglets. Service has received mixed reviews, with some noting long wait times and limited payment options, as the shop only accepts cash or e-transfer. Despite this, visitors plan to return to try other flavors and enjoy the variety of fillings offered.
