Ithaca Greek Mediterranean Restaurant

In today's competitive restaurant environment, Ithaca experience just fell short in terms of food quality. The lamb shank was overcooked. The Saganaki was decent, but I have had better.

Service was excellent though, and the atmosphere made it feel like a proper grotto.

Came here for lunch and was extremely disappointed. I ordered the large chicken souvlaki and 2 pieces of the chicken were VERY PINK borderline raw. Unacceptable.

Thankfully they’re back on track. We’d stopped ordering from Ithaca for over a year because the food had gone downhill. We’d heard there was new ownership so perhaps that’s why. But our last few orders have been great. We’re so pleased because we do like to have a break from cooking but we want something fairly healthy.

Every time I've been to this location, I have been impressed with the freshness of the food and hospitality of the staff.
Great place to go with the family - they have a lot of seating and the restaurant is very clean.
Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Ithaca delivers great food and a lively atmosphere. Their Saganaki is a must-try—so many tables order it, it’s absolutely delicious. The flaming cheese can make the restaurant a bit smoky at times. The lamb souvlaki is excellent—tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Definitely a spot worth visiting.

It’s about the service! I’m sure the food is ok like most Greek food - healthy and all the rest. My issue is with the chintzy customer service. Ive ordered a bunch of food for about $450. Not only did they not give me a cash discount - policy - ok I can buy that - whatever fine. They gave me maybe a cup and a half worth of tzatziki for about 30 skewers in total. I asked for more and they wanted to charge me $10 more for container half the size they already gave me. You have to be kidding me. That’s what I get for supporting local business with a Christmas order. You want to cheapen out - ok - but you’ve just lost hundreds more in the coming year that I will never order from you again…and maybe from others that see this review. Great job! There are many better places to order Greek food like Esquire on Vic Park and Sheppard who give you a good amount of everything - should have just ordered from there in the first place although a bit far for me now - there’s always next time

We had a catering order for 21 people on Christmas Eve and everyone loved the food . The chicken souvlaki was amazing along with the lamb chops , pork souvlaki also best Greek salad was a huge hit . We highly recommend this restaurant for catering or dine in .

The appetizers were good, I would recommend the calamari. Octopus is ok, a bit bland and too much oregano. For the dips, taramasalata is the best, tzatziki is not bad, hummus is bland. For entrees, Pasta is too runny with too much cream sauce, but overall acceptable. Lamb is tender but very bland and gamy, we only had a bite or two. I should have reflected how much we disliked the lamb to the server. Baklava is mediocre also. I am surprised by the high ratings. Overall it’s a one time experience, will not come back.

More salad instead of potatoes requested: DOUBLE rice received.

The service from both men was so incredibly curt that I had no interest in having the entrees corrected for fear of what may happen to the food en route back to my seat.

The rudeness I can overlook. This coupled with delivering incorrect orders for BOTH of us I cannot.
