Authentic Japanese yakitori, love it!

Felt just like the local izakayas in Japan. Service was impeccable. Kinda pricey but def worth it if you’re craving authentic Japanese flavours.

Izakaya Ju is my favorite izakaya in GTA. It is the most authentic, creative and delicious izakaya. I tried many oden in Japan. I even went to an izakaya called Oden in Osaka but Ju makes it better. I was also surprised by the quality of ramen. It is right up there with ramen shops.

The food aside, their staff are also friendly and helpful.

My only request from the owner is that they bring back kawa and negima. I know they are not popular but they were so good when they used to make them.

Very tasty food ! The wagyu on skewers are superb! Melts in your mouth with wasabi ! The skewers sample was very tender and tasty. Good place !

They now close at Thursday too but didn’t update the time on Google.

The beef tongue was a unique dish I wanted to try. It was good but it tastes very similar to Indian curry dishes to a point where I couldn't tell the difference.

Overall food was pretty good, the sushi was fresh. A little pricey but service was friendly.

Great experience - the food was tasty with the skewers not too charred and the service was amazing :)

Authentic Japanese restaurant with a good selection of tasty izakayas. It's not glitzy, not loud and it's not runned by non-Japanese teenagers like other Izakaya restaurants. Reminds me of neighborhood restaurants in Japan itself.

The kitchen missed my order and I didn't get my food until everyone was finished eating. There was no apology. The food took a long time to arrive and was very mediocre. My teriyaki kitchen was too burnt and much of skin could not be eaten.

Top notch Food and service. No atmosphere to speak of

Food is ok but the rest are fantastic. Reminds me of an izakaya near suburban area of Japan.

Wow! Definite place for many return visits!
The Yakitori combo is incredible. The Chicken Karaage was also great. Every dish was very tasty. We also had the Oden, the Tokyo Ramen and the Osaka Chahan.
Service was fast, friendly and helpful. The portions were good, but the taste and quality were exceptional.

Also had an imported beer from Japan, Sakura Mochi Stout, which was refreshing and awesome with the Yakitori.
