Lovely spot to spend an afternoon! Took my siblings for a little shopping and treated them to Hokkaido Don’s (pictured below). The fish tasted fresh and delicious with the rice being the perfect companion. Staff were very polite and friendly too. Only qualm is the onigiris are a little light on the filling, but it’s not that big of a deal. Highly recommend this spot!

I visit regularly to buy fresh wasabi root. The quality is good and it is rare they don’t have it in stock. Allen is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. He invests the time in his customers.

We ususally buy sashimi at this place with no issues. On the new year's eve, we bought a sashimi plater and the sashimi was not properly cut and still attached to each other?!!!! I don't know if the shop was too busy or just don't care about their food quality. Can you imagine that you have to tear salmon and Tuna Sashimi to eat it???? Supermarket grade sashimi can easily outpeform your shop.
You have one simple task to do - to cut the sashimi and yet you failed.

My wife and I came by and we purchase two unaguri. I got the spicy salmon and my wife got the spam and kimchi. The spicy salmon contains cooked salmon with some spicy sauce. Overall it was not bad, a little heavy on the rice though but it was still pretty good. My wife got the spam and kimchi and she enjoyed it, but not wowed by it.

J-Town By The Sea is a great sushi stand. The seafood was very fresh.
They have a variety of premade sushi and sashimi trays. They also have a variety of onigiri with different flavours like char siu, crab, salmon, spam and curry.
You can also order a party tray if you preorder.

Forget the mainstream "tiktok pmall onigiris", these are waaay better - they're well stuffed and fairly priced for what they are. I would suggest you to go a bit after opening hours so they can stock up most if not all the flavors. The sushi is also pretty fresh and delicious - I've been going here for years and cannot reccomend this place enough.
