I don’t usually write reviews, but Los Chicos Peruvian Cousine absolutely deserves it! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere, beautiful décor, and the cozy vibe. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
Now, let’s talk about the food, absolutely outstanding. Every dish was packed with authentic Peruvian flavors, fresh ingredients, and cooked with so much care. The Lomo Saltado was bursting with flavor, and the portions were generous without compromising quality. You can really taste the passion behind the cooking.
The Pisco cocktails were just as impressive, creative and refreshing . It’s the kind of place where you can come for a fun night out with friends, a family gathering, or even a date and it fits the mood every time.
Overall, Los Chicos is more than just a restaurant, it’s an experience. Great food, amazing drinks and service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay all night.

Nice place with interesting Peruvian dishes. We had the beef appetizer Anticuchos which was nice, it came with Yuka fries. My guest had the chicken caesar salad which she loved. I had the beef dish I think it was called Lomo Saltado which I enjoyed very much.

Nice little Peruvian restaurant. There’s a take out area up from and seating in the back.
Had the cow heart appetizer and remember it being really tasty the first time I had it.
There’s chicken was good though would need more than a quarter for bigger appetites. Peruvian salad was nice and fresh.
Not a ton of space so make a reservation. A bit loud but perhaps it was the crowd.

My partner and I regularly make the drive from Newmarket to Markham for this place! The food is always amazing and tasty! My partner who’s Peruvian always says the food is pretty authentic and reminds him of his father’s cooking. We usually get the Lomo Saltado, Jalea Platter , and Papa La huancaína. Bonus they have Inca Kola!!! Forever a favourite and go-to for us!
