The best rotisserie chicken sandwich out there.
The food here is absolutely amazing. To start, we had a cocktail, and Inca Cola. The Ceviche Mixto was absolutely delicious, and had the right texture and perfect punch of each component. I do think some more onions would have balanced the flavor a little better. The anticuchos were nice and smoky and had just the right hit of seasoning. The only thing that could have a bit of work would be the Linguini a la Mar: pasta was cooked over Al Dente, but flavor was great: I do wish the bread it came with was more seasoned. Overall, food was hearty and great bang for buck, and if I'm ever in Markham again, I will be back.
Food was delicious! Got to try an assortment of dishes during our first time visiting this Peruvian restaurant.
We had:
-Beef Heart (not pictured) surprisingly tender
- Jalea Platter - would recommend. Delicious fried battered seafood (shrimp, calamari, and fish) with salsa Corolla
-ceviche mixto - would recommend. Delicious with lots of fish. Would even order this as a main. Very difficult to share this one because I wanted it all for myself ◡̈
- Lomo Saltado - famous Peruvian dish. It was ok as the beef was on the tough side but I think it was meant to be this way.
- pollo a la brasa with two chicken legs with side of yucca frites, fries, Caesar salad and Peruvian salad. Also well made and delicious.
Love the sauces that came with everything. The beef heart was tender, ceviche was super fresh, jalea was nicely fried and worked great with the salsa and chicken was juicy, well seasoned and cooked. ✅✅✅
Parking was a bit difficult but managed to find a spot.
Love their chicken and ceviche. Best chicken ever.
Absolutely amazing place. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. Definitely coming back again.
We came to Los chicos on Father’s Day- it was super busy but friendly staff!
We ordered Anticuchos, ceviche, pollo a la brasa with yuka and lucuma cake with ice cream.
I wanted to highlight a few things that impressed me:
1. Although it was super busy, staff were kind and attentive
2. Place was clean and very upbeat
3. The dessert was amazing- I would buy the whole cake and take it home (which they sell as well)
3. It’s a family owned business and you can tell
This place was a great idea to bring my dad for Father’s Day and would recommend this to anyone wanting to try Peruvian cuisine.
Service and atmosphere were great, the food was okay. Roasted chicken were not fresh maybe because it was lunch time. Not busy at all.
I loved my experience at Los chicos! The food was high quality full of flavor, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared.
Food: My favorite the Lomo saltado and the chicken, the Jalea platter is perfect to share!
Drink: I especially loved the chilcano—it was really refreshing.
The Peruvian coffe was really tasty
The service was amazing; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it’s a cozy and nice spot with great food and drinks. I’ll definitely be coming back!

To be honest it was the best Peruvian food I have had outside of Peru. Success Guys!!! Thank you for representing the country with so much enthusiasm, it is greatly appreciated.

We had Aji de Gallina and Lomo saltado with sides of yucca. The chicken wasn't good and the Aji tasted off... and it had a hair. The Lomo was dry. The Yucca was very greasy and soft (i.e. little to no crunch). We ordered take out, so I can only speak to the front service (friendly) and not about the overall atmosphere.

I ordered this from uber and it was hard as a rock. Love their chicken usually but fries were not seasoned and the entire garlic bread and one order of fries is literally uneditable
Delicious Peruvian food!

Can't remember the name of the traditional drink we shared, but it was amazing! The lomo was out of this world! The chocolate cake with homemade ice cream was luxurious!! All in all an outstanding experience! Will definitely be going back!

I have travelled to Peru and this food had no flavour and honestly wasn't good. I ordered an appetizer, ceviche and a main and wasn't happy. The music was way too loud.
