Great prices, dim sum tastes more bland than other restaurants (which I don't mind too much), the har gow wrap is one of the best I've had, unfortunately the filling wasn't as great. Mediocre service from the manager, good service from the dim sum serving aunties.

The standout feature of this establishment is its budget-friendly dim sum. From Monday to Friday, between 9 AM and 3 PM, and on weekends and holidays from 9 AM to 11:30 AM, you can enjoy small, medium, or large (food type, not size) dishes for just $4.98—cash only, otherwise regular price apply. However, you often get what you pay for: while some dishes, like the rice noodle, are acceptable (barely), others, such as the pork bun and various dumplings, are bland and lack flavor.

Food presentation leaves much to be desired, as dishes often appear carelessly plated, randomly thrown to the dish or basket, detracting from their appeal. They do not look appetizing at all. Additionally, there’s a $2.50 charge for tea per person. There seemed to be no English or bilingual menu.

Food is served quickly, and the service is efficient, but the staff are not friendly and welcoming. Some of them are even rude.

They were charged with food premise not maintained with food handling room in sanitary condition on July 11, 2024, but it seems they have since addressed these concerns. Lunchtime can get quite busy, likely due to the early bird special, and the small size of the restaurant—complete with two tables near the entrance—means that those seated there might struggle to get timely service.

To draw in more patrons, they also offer lunch take-out and dinner seafood specials, though we haven’t tried these options. Given our experience with the dim sum, we’re hesitant to risk dinner here, even at lower prices.

The ambiance is unremarkable, and it seems little renovation has been done. The decor is quirky rather than elegant, and the low ceilings can make the space feel cramped and claustrophobic.

Wheelchair accessibility: The place is too cramped, it will be hard for wheelchair, but not totally impossible.

Value for money, worth the food. The snacks are hot enough and served quickly. recommend

Very disappointed with the food quality and the service. The servers here have no smile and have a pretty rude attitude. They also added the 12% service charge without letting us know. Luckily I checked the bill, otherwise I would have double tipped. They definitely do not deserve 12%!

Went here for a banquet dinner. The food was tasty but the service wasn’t as expected. Normally for banquets, the dishes are served by the wait staff. Most of the time here, the servers deposited the dishes on the table and we were left to distribute the food ourselves. There’s pluses and minuses to both experiences, this is just an observation. Other than that, staff were quite responsive to individual requests for drinks etc.

The lobster was unique in that each guest received a small half lobster instead of the usual one lobster that’s cut up into bite size pieces.

One of the best sweet and sour pork dishes I’ve had

Went for family dinner on a Friday before long weekend. Service was great up until near the end of our 8 course meal. We didn't get the bill until more than half the restaurant had left for the night

Good was ok for what it was. Didn't like the salted egg lobster, prefer more traditional Maggi sauce or HK style lobster

Beef was great, other dishes what you'd expect for the price but nothing really stood out

Won't likely be returning with staff ignoring us for so long

? $20-30 pp depending on how many people you come with

Service here is a little rushed for people wanting a little bit more of a chilled yum cha experience. The moment I sat down, I was told by a waitress passing by to hurry up and order ASAP. Reason is because dimsum is only $4.98 per dish (doesn't matter what size) until 11:30AM. It was 11.15AM.

There was a line up to be seated - I got a table of 5 but I was called to sit after 15 minutes of waiting.

Dimsum dishes aren't anything out of the ordinary. You get an ordering sheet for all the things you'd want to get.

I'd come again but only before 11:30AM

Food is okay, service is not good , and be aware that a mandatory 12% service charge will not be informed by the server at the time of billing. Pay attention to it.....

It was out first time at this restaurant and we had dim sum. The portions are reasonable and if you go for early dim sum you get a good deal. They offer the traditional dim sum such as har gow, siu mai, bbq pork bun, congee, rice rolls, etc. Nothing fancy but overall, the food tasted fine. On the other hand, service was meh ? It took a good 10 minutes for someone to come by to take our order sheet. Even after making eye contact with one of the servers she just walked by our table. During our visit, somehow, they mixed our order with the table next to us. Looks like it is a common thing to happen because on our way out I heard another table having the same issue. ?‍♀️ Also, they automatically add the service charge to your bill.

Went there on a Friday for dim sum at 11:30, it was packed but not over crowded. But the waiter/waitress seemed to be working hard to keep up and was hard to get a hold of for services. The speed of food serving was relatively slow compare to a typical dim sum restaurant. Though the quality of dim sum were mostly good and the $4.98 week days flat rate for regular dim sum made up for the poor services. That being said, the ginger chicken bun tasted spoiled as some reviews claimed other spoiled dim sum as well. For desert, the double boiled egg white was lukewarm and the black sesame mochi was not sweet at all to my liking. But for the price, I will go back some better time for a second try to be fair.
